I was heading to Fredericton and stopped by to pick up dinner and had decided on their House Special Chow Mein. Once I reached Fredericton, I discovered my takeout was some stirred-fried green cabbage, a few julienned strips of carrot and bell pepper for colour and no more than half a dozen small beef and chicken strips each. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and thought that I was indeed very unlucky they made the mistake on my order. But one phone call to the restaurant had revealed that it wasn't a mistake. Their chow mein dishes are indeed not chow mein, i.e. not fried noodle. A chow mein dish without chow mein is like ordering a chicken salad and what you ended up getting is a few strips of chicken but no salad. I would strongly recommend the names of the dishes be changed so that it's not so misleading...so...

Tina's Kitchen was closed on Monday but I went on Tuesday. The Crab Rangoon appetizer was delicious. Definitely worth it. I also ordered wonton noodle soup. Ok, but a bit bland. I added soya sauce and pepper. Combo 16 was very good. The beef and broccoli was different that most but very good. It had a darker oyster-sauce-tasting sauce instead of clear. However, the broccoli was tender crisp the onions well done and the beef tender. The rice was good, average. The chicken balls were meaty and impressive. I prefer Spring Rolls over egg rolls, but the ER were very good. Except for the soup,...

Late August 2020, the restaurant is still take out only. No dine-in at this time. I enjoyed combination plate 16 and two large wonton soups. (The takeout menu does not list large wonton soup which is $9.) The fried rice was very good. The egg roll was tasty and not greasy. The amount of chicken in the chicken balls was less than average but enjoyed. The sweet and sour sauce was ok. The beef and broccoli was very good. The beef was tender and the broccoli was Tender Crisp. But the carrots were these huge round thin discs, it would have been nicer for them to be cut smaller. A very fine...

I was here in the fall of 2021 and it was good. Just went there again and it's even better. We ordered a dinner for three and had plenty of leftovers. The wonton starter was very savory and had at least 6 wontons in it. The other dishes were huge and could easily feed 4 people. As long as they keep their current standards I will buy from them anytime I'm in town.

I ordered a take out combo from Tina's. It was all good in terms of pricing, portion, and more importantly, taste. I particularly liked the egg roll. The restaurant looked quite clean, and the service was prompt and courteous. I recommend giving it a try.
