Burger Bob — Restaurant in Hemmingford (canton)

Hi I'm Burger Bob......I would like to say to Tomas that I do feel bad about his experience with us:( We work extremely hard at making everyone happy. I do however would like to make something very clear.....I am the type of person that cares about people and the lady that I was talking to wanted to vent her problems! I listen because that is who I am and I am building my business one person at a time and take pride in what I do. We are not a big restaurant that doesn't care about our community or does the minimum to look good! We support the local sports, employ 23 people during the summer months and sometimes we do stop to listen to people.....sometimes that makes them feel good and puts a smile on their faces. Sometimes its not all about the holy dollar! I invite you back Tomas and your meal is on me:) I would enjoy the chance to sit and talk with you because we do have a common interest...motorcycles.

Came by motorcycle from Montreal with a friend, over an hour's drive. Waited while some guy at the outside take out window, whom I presume to be Bob, chatted it up with a woman about her job as a customs agent for what seemed like an eternity but was actually 2 or 3 minutes. All the time not even batting an eye, ignoring a waiting customer. Then we went inside and stood by the cash while confused employees in the kitchen looked at me, then Bob chatting it away with this woman, then back at me....for about a minute until I threw my arms up in amazement and walked out. While getting back on my motorcycle Bob didn't waste any time in exiting his building and walking over to a group of other bikers to exchange thank yous and goodbyes. I guess socializing is more important than running a business?

I can't comment on the food because I was not served at all and had to leave and get a hot dog at some other roadside restaurant a few minutes down the road.

Pretty decent place. Lots of traffic at the place so you know the food is kinda fresh. I usually eat the poutine and burgers which are good. Pattys arent super thin like other fast food types. Poutine taste like they should with good cheese and fries. Haven't tried the other stuff yet but like every other place in this world there's probably one item to avoid.(not necessarily because its nasty (been to some places that are) but rather because it barely gets ordered so it might not be prepared has good has busy items). Weird hours but there in a tiny village by the border and with them closed i figured that could be why. Close at 2pm during the week and normal 8pm closing time for weekends.(hours could have changed by the time you read this if its a year later. If your reading this the day after i posted it, good chances they're...
