Maria’s Wok n Dine — Restaurant in Huron East

Not sure where to start. The food or the staff? The staff were amazing. We were the first to dine in since Dec 23rd and they made us feel very special. We had never been here before so immediately they brought us out some complementary homemade egg rolls. Wow - they had set the bar really high. I have never had an egg roll this good before in my life.

They were attentive and also gave us space. It was a perfect balance in a pandemic.

What to order? Oh man - I didn't know where to start. Everything looked and sounded so amazing. We settled on 3 specials - Pad Thai, Orange Chicken and Chicken Basil Noodles. It was very difficult to choose as the menu had me wanting to try everything. We received way more food than we could consume and also took home a Beef Pho (as it was my daughters fav and seemed appropriate for her to have the next day on her actual birthday).

Knowing we were celebrating my daughters 16 birthday - out of nowhere towards the end of our meal - Happy Birthday started to play over the sound system. Smiles all around. As we ended our meal and prepared to leave, even the ladies in the kitchen came out for a brief hello.

I don't think we could have had a better experience. In the middle of a pandemic, the quiet drive to wherever the sun took us, an amazing meal and meeting some amazing people. If you haven't tried it, it's worth the "adventure" - take the drive. Enjoy the food and Meet some...

Absolutely amazing service! There was a mix-up with our order tonight and we ended up picking up the wrong food. They called us right away when they noticed, delivered our proper order, and made sure our refund was processed then and there. Completely top notch team.

The food is always good. Pad thai and mango salad are excellent. Their veggie egg rolls are actually filled with vegetables, not just shredded cabbage. Fried rice is a little moist so it's best eaten fresh. Portion sizes are good.

Only note of criticism is that their interior is a mess of signs. Can be difficult to follow. Perhaps too many daily specials when their menu already speaks so...

This place is always on our must visit list, every time we are around this area. We have been visiting this restaurant for the past 3 years and we would say they've always been consistent in terms of offering delicious food as well as their customer service.

Their Tom Yum Soup which is exceptionally good, their Veg Noodles and Veg Lumpia are our favourite dishes. We liked their chilli garlic sauce too.

Maria would always come and ask us if we liked the food and make sure everything's good. She would also prepare as per the spice level we require. Their staff and customer service are indeed nice. We wish to keep visiting this restaurant...
