I have been to this Tim Hortons many times and it is never consistent with their service. Some days the drive thru can be quick and other times you’ll wait 10 minutes. But one thing I try to be understanding of there Front of house after 3 pm needs to have a designated person, or the team that is working usually consisting of minimum 4-5 people need to be a bit more prompt.
I get places are understaffed but delegating your time from cashing at drive thru to front needs to improve. Also they need to prioritize orders better. When I mobile order a single drink and the 5 minutes it takes to drive there, I shouldn’t have to stand additional 10 minutes while staff continues to make other employees drink that were placed after my mobile was long sent in. The staff were aware of my order when I questioned did that order get sent through- sorry let me just finish these few customers in line.. that defeats the entire point of mobile ordering. I used to work at a Tim Hortons so I am aware you don’t just choose to finish your line up and get to my drink. I mobiled for a reason I only have 5 minute break and would rather not waste 15 plus minutes waiting for a single drink. This is not the first time this has happened I can count on a dozen times there speed of service without line ups is not prioritized for front. Perhaps better training of the younger staff might improve the...
Read moreThere is no smell I love waking up to more than fresh brewed coffee, especially on Saturday mornings with my husband. There is just something so inviting about the smell of coffee that makes me feel ready to face the day or feel renewed midday. I actually love the aroma of coffee so much that I even have coffee-scented candles. They’re heavenly, but they’re nothing quite like the scent of a freshly brewed cup of coffee.
I have always loved the taste of coffee – it was never something I had to acquire the taste for or get used to. I appreciate the taste of coffee without any creamers or sugar. I can’t tell you how excited I was when I began to be able to taste the difference between the different roasts and brands. When you appreciate coffee for more than the caffeine it provides, that’s when you truly begin to love coffee.
Now, don’t get me wrong…I do love coffee for the caffeine it provides! Somedays coffee really is the only thing that can get me up and feeling like I can accomplish my dreams and goals. It gives me the boost I need to stay focused and energized. It’s my midday pick-me-up that perks me up and keeps me fueled for the...
Read moreWhen the customer is treated like they are bothering them when trying to get order corrected there is an internal problem that needs corrective action. After placing order at drive through I noticed my tea biscuit was the wrong kind. I stop and go in to the counter requesting the right one. No apologies and noticing a tone coming from the prep person in kitchen area. I take 2 steps and discover wrong again as it was buttered. Returning again the tone goes from facial to verbal. I get the correct one with no sincere apology. I get to car with my husband now telling me I'm not done as he got tea instead of coffee plus wrong size so back in again for replacement. I ask for a drink voucher for our trouble knowing other locations offer and you don't need to ask. I was told they don't give out free vouchers. Very annoyed I let them know I will skip Seaforth and stop in Clinton in the future. Oh and the coffee was cold and 20 minutes of wasted time. I think the owners of Tim Hortons need to do a retrain here at the management level because these people seem...
