I'll start with the negative first. Probably the most expensive Mennonite bakery I've been to and it's pretty far from my home. I'm out in that area every other week so I take advantage when I can. So much to choose from. This time I went with a carrot cake and a bacon butter tart. Even with the 30% discount on the cake it was still $7. Regardless, they were both delicious. There are raisins in the carrot cake but no walnuts. The cake is huge and moist. The icing is divine, not too sweet, light and fluffy and applied generously. The tart was on the sweet side.
