Random stop on a cabot trip. Really enjoyed it, had the jerk chicken sandwich and a poutine. The sandwich was excellent, served with mango avocado salsa and pepperjack cheese on a ciabatta bun, with tomato and lettuce. The bun seemed like it was steamed so it wasn't really hard and chewy, the chicken was perfectly cooked and moist, and the vegetables were fresh and delicious. The mango salsa had great flavor, with hints of lime and cilantro. The only thing I found was the chicken wasn't quite spicy enough for jerk chicken, but I really like spice. The poutine was great as well, made with real cheese curds and authentic poutine gravy. The fries were cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and the place seemed clean. The prices are on the high end of food truck fare, but the quality of the ingredients as well as the generous portions justified it for me. I wish I lived closer so I could try the rest of their menu. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to anyone else.

Don’t go here if you don’t like friendly, fast service and fresh, incredibly delicious food. We brought our chicken shawarma, broccoli salad, falafel, and poutine to eat at Lakies Head. The chicken shawarma was perfectly seasoned and unbelievably tender, perfectly cooked. Everything was awesome. A perfect pit stop along the Cabot Trail.

Hidden gem food truck on the Cabot trail. We had an amazing lunch. Burger amazing, chicken crunch burger ridiculously good, so delicious. Even the brocoli salad was amazing. Everything seems fresh, no premade frozen stuff. Takeout only (no tables) but as per their recommendation we went to eat at Warren lake.

Must EAT! Phenomenal food, fast, friendly! We had a burger with a special relish/sauce and bacon. It was delicious! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Would have been fantastic without the relish too though. Just a great burger!

The poutine was good. The broccoli slaw was wonderful but I’d have enjoyed a little larger portion of it although the portions of everything else were large.

The chicken sandwich was really good too.

The mint chocolate layered dessert was really good.

Best food trick I’ve ever eaten from! It was better than most sit down restaurants.

Honestly, being from Oklahoma, cattle country, I’ve had a lot of burgers and it was probably the best I’ve had anywhere.

Keep up...

The great thing about the Cabot Trail is the complete lack of commercial/franchised food options. Smaller, often family run spots are definitely where it’s at. This quirky local food truck is set back from the road in a partly wooded area and easy to miss unless you see the sign to turn off. Great burgers, fries and other comfort food. Chicken bacon pita was the best ever. Get some grub to go and head down to one of the local beaches or rest stops. Kudos to the friendly, small team running the show and definitely recommended if you are...
