I stopped in to grab food on my way out of town. The line was really long and moving steadily, but slower than other places I've been to. I was already having a super stressful day and was in a bad mood. There was a trainee at the cash. He was clearly doing his best. As I was waiting for my turn, I observed the team behind the counter. They were helping each other, smiling, and it looked like they really enjoyed their work (and not the type of banter I've seen in other places- where ppl are more interested in chatting than working- they were all working well, and doing their jobs...but in a friendly, team-oriented, family-like environment) Especially impressive was Albert. He was helping the new trainee- never appearing frustrated or short. He was so helpful and supportive. It was lovely to witness. He was also running around doing his own work and helping others on the team. They were all working really hard but he was like a little bee floating around, working his magic all around him. There was such a pleasant, joyful, positive environment behind the counter that I couldn't help but smile. I was suddenly feeling less rushed, less frustrated and it made a difference all day. Read moreArguably the worst fast food service I've ever received. Gentleman at the counter made countless errors on our order, had to be corrected each step of the way. They then did not have the rice for the bowl I had ordered, when I asked if I could have the wrap instead they said "no, we don't have any rice." I the clarified to ask if the wrap had rice and was told "no." But was still not allowed to get the wrap? Another employee then suggested an alternate wrap that was similar to what I had ordered, I agreed to this and checked with the initial employee about the price difference given that the wrap was $.279 cheaper than the bowl and was told "no, combo is same price." After paying, I went back to the counter to clarify because that seemed outrageous and I tried to get his attention 3 separate times politely while he proceeded to ignore me and assist other customers that were behind me in line. After nearly 10 minutes, I dealt with another employee because he refused to assist me. I received my refund from this other gentleman who was helpful, but man this first guy was an airhead beyond belief. Won't be coming back to this location on my numerous drives through here anymore.
