We live in Keremeos and this is our most favourite restaurant. The owners are first of all super nice and welcoming people who love to be with people! Their food is heads above any other establishment. We have ordered their burger which my husband says is really the most tasty he has ever had with all the fresh ingredients and bacon, etc. I myself am a fish lover, so their fish & chips are absolutely the best I have ever had! Their beer batter is so tasty, even cold the next day when I take some home, as their portions are so huge! The French fries are so tasty with nothing at all being greasy or dripping with fat. Was visiting the area from Vancouver and decided to try this place. Glad we did! The owners, who are a couple, were busy bees with a lot of locals in there. He greeted, served, cleaned tables, and she cooked all of the meals. I ordered the pesto flatbread and a cool drink with lime and pineapple juice with coconut water, my partner got the butter chicken poutine, and the regulars sure loved their very yummy looking fish and chips.

Food were good portions and filled us well. Pricing was fair and easy on the eyes.

Definitely stopping in here again on our next end of summer trip.

I’ve changed my rating due to recent changes at the k. Before Kristen took over the k restaurant the food was bland and service was poor. When she took over the food was vastly improved. Specials were always different and the desserts were freshly made each day. Staff were friendly and service improved. Recently the original owners likely saw how improved the food and business had brought a lot of people out and how many positive reviews from people who enjoyed the food there and decided they wanted to take over and gave notice to Kristen to vacate the premises in 30 days and take over once again.
