On a car trip with our 2 friends from Kelowna 7 Aug/20. Had eaten in this restaurant on previous occasions, so thought we would try it again. We all wore our masks as we entered. There was hand sanitizer there for customers which was good. BUT...all staff, including the cook, were not wearing masks, and the cook was not wearing a hairnet. We should have walked out at that moment. Waitress directs us to a table which was well apart from others, good. We placed our order, but one of us wanted the hot dog platter. Waitress soon came back and told us that they ran out of hot dog buns. It was 1pm in the afternoon on Friday, and I don't think the hot dog platter was a special of the day where they would run out of the buns. My friend suggested then why not put it in a hamburger bun instead. The waitress didn't look pleased, but the meal did come in a hamburger bun. All our orders were not great food, I would say they were mediocre. Waitress gave us our drinks, but didn't come back to see how or if we liked the food, or to give us refills of our drinks. When the food was brought to us the waitress set it at the end of the table, and we had to pass it to the right person. She said she couldn't set it in front of the right person. She should be wearing a mask, then she could have done it. My friend had to go to the till to ask for a refill of water. Meanwhile staff are co-mingling and not paying any attention to any customer needs, all gathering at one of the tables, eating meals, or having a drink, not one wearing a mask. One guy was using a 1980s hand roll sweeper to sweep the carpet. He could have waited until we had left the restaurant. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest. We had to go to the till to pay, our bill wasn't brought to us so we could review it. Owner says it isn't mandatory for staff to wear masks...but you'd think they would do it anyways...as they are around customers all day. Common sense....safety for staff and patrons should be a big concern here. It's only right during this COVID time. Also, staff in the kitchen should have hairnets, I think that is a violation in itself. Don't think we will be...

I truly hate writing a bad review - and I see others have had more positive experiences, but we just didn't. We arrived about 5:25 on a Sunday evening to a restaurant that was quite busy - so we were prepared for a wait. However, it took almost 15 minutes just to get a beverage request in, and another 10 for it to arrive. Ok. So we put in an order as we received our beverages, and proceeded to wait, and wait, and wait. A large table would contribute to the delay - we understood that. But the waitress kept avoiding our eye, and never gave an update on our dinner. We finally were able to call her associate over and got excuses that the computer was down (although the cook was using paper slips). At about the 75 minute mark, my wife (finally( got her food..but my meal (a burger) was apparently awaiting a fresh batch of gravy for the fries. Almost 20 minutes later, the burger arrived on the out counter...where it sat, and sat. Eventually - almost 10 minutes later, I got my burger, now stone cold. While the one server explained all the problems they were having as we left, nothing was done on our bill to compensate for the extensive wait. If they had even comp'd our beverages, we would have left feeling not so ripped off...but we were charged full price on everything. As a final assault, on the way home I started feeling queasy...and eventually very nauseous...the next morning this continued with more severity, along with a pounding headache. I won't say it's related, but it sure seems suspicious. Now, almost two days later, I feel ok again - But I highly suspect the food here was the culprit. Maybe the locals have more cast-iron stomachs...and I CERTAINLY do, but I would not...

Place is ran by a super unprofessional owner. They make stuff up to try to make their reviews look better. Won’t let you say anything negative without chirping back, lying. The ranch burger on the menu says: bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, mushroom. Receiving mayo, and relish on the burger might not be a big deal to some, it isn’t how it is advertised on the menu, which is what I paid for. Also didn’t receive gravy which I ordered. When someone makes an order, has 30 minutes on their lunch break to come pick it up and eat it, they expect it to be right. If it’s wrong, they shouldn’t be coming back to just get a refund and be hungry for the rest of the day. They should get a refund and the food. Not be spoken to rudely by staff. Then have the owner post online, lying about the situation when I voice my opinion. Which is my every right to do when they messed up. The professional thing to do wouldve been to rectify the situation. Can’t post pictures with my review but will be posting a video to my YouTube Channel, and adding the link...

My boyfriend used to come here as a child so I was super excited when he brought me here. I just love diners: the decor, the nostalgia, the friendly atmosphere. And there's something about diner food that just hits the spot. You know it's not the healthiest but it's so tasty and satisfying! I had the 2 eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and toast. I drizzled some ketchup and syrup on top of everything and ate it so fast. The rye toast was perfectly buttered and I spread jam on top. My boyfriend had the hamburger steak with a large pancake on the side (thanks for being accommodating because the pancake was delicious!). The bottomless coffees were a God send. For dessert we shared the Cinnamon toast which was soooo good. My boyfriend ended up eating most of it lol. We also had some Bailey's coffee which came in a huge glass with an even huge-er dollop of yummy whipped cream. I will definitely be coming back to try their lunch and dinner menu. Oh, and both of our servers were so nice and welcoming!

It was our the first traditional breakfast in The Ranch breakfast. All my family members argreed that we will coming here again. Huge coffee cup, good coffee and food, pet friendly patio, pet menu and the most important thing is smiling/friendly faces.

I have only ever gotten the clubhouse sandwich for pickup but let me tell you it is AMAZING. I live in hedley and frequently make the drive to Keremeos just to get a clubhouse from this place. The price is right and great portion!
