Put in an order last night which totalled $80, all of which was vegetarian, including the agedashi tofu. Had called up to check to see if the spring rolls were vegetarian as this was not disclosed on their menu. After driving 30 minutes there and back I open the tofu to find that it was covered in fish flakes - this had also not been disclosed on their menu. My partner called up to try and get a resolution and rather than apologising to us, the restaurant blamed us for not specifically mentioning we were vegetarian. After spending 20 minutes on the phone their only offered resolution was for us to drive back to either get a new order of tofu or a refund on just the tofu. Obviously 30 minutes driving would have meant the rest of the food would have gone cold. As a lifelong vegetarian of 36 years, I have never had to check whether a tofu dish is vegetarian before. Tofu is inherently vegetarian and even during my travels to Japan this was the case too. As a restaurant it’s your job to make it as easy to for the customer as possible and explicitly state key ingredients, especially on an inherently vegetarian dish. The website has a notice that customers should mention any allergies, but vegetarianism is a dietary requirement, not an allergy, so we did not note that on our order (nor have I ever had to do that when ordering from any other place). The rest of the food itself was just ok - although the spring rolls had clearly been bought frozen from elsewhere and were tasteless. Overall terrible experience and will never be ordered from them again.

Great sushi in a mountain town? Yep for sure. Tonight I had the House roll with an appetizer of tempura. Both were very good and well presented. The wife got udon noodle soup, she also very much enjoyed her meal. My house roll was a great mix of different fish, cream cheese, and I think they even stuffed some tempura in there! Deeeeelishious

Didn't expect that much but it was amazing. I got spicy boneless chicken and beef yakisoba both were great. And the korean lady in the kitchen (owner) is really kind. Highly recommend. 엄지척 맛있어요 소스가 한국치킨맛.. JMT

First time was good, went for lunch. Went back a 2nd time for dinner and was disappointed as they forgot my meal. We kept waiting and waiting and it never came. Saw tons of “to go” orders going out, feel like they got preference over dine in customers. Sadly disappointed, as I left hungry. At least the young waitress did her job and took the order correctly, chef totally didn’t....

Some of the best sushi I have ever had . The portions were larger than most places and the freshness of the ingredients was superb. We randomly stopped as we saw a sign that said sushi and we were hungry while driving through Kimberley and I must say it was a really good decision. Anytime I find myself close to Kimberley I know where I'm...
