Pizza Express (Highview/Ira Needles) — Restaurant in Kitchener

Pizza is some of the best in the area, so we decided to try their subs recently. We ordered a pizza sub and a meatball sub. When we got home and unwrapped them, we actually thought we received the wrong order because it looked completely off. When we got back to the store, the lady said she was the one that made them and knew they were right. The pizza sub, listed as double meat and bacon contained almost no meat, we actually thought it was a veggie sub because we couldn’t see any when we opened it up. We added some veggies, but there was also some other stuff that we didn’t add. The lady admitted that their website descriptions are inaccurate and they actually make it with different toppings than what was listed. Strange, maybe make it how someone orders it? The “meatball” sub was ordered plain (meat/cheese/sauce) but came with a ton of vegetables. Again, not what is listed on the website. The meatballs themselves were little pieces of meat, what you would get if you ordered Italian sausage on your pizza. The lady admitted that the subs were not what we actually ordered, but no offer of a refund or to make them correctly. We ended up leaving them there and told her to throw them out.

Because the service and pizza are usually good here, I wanted to give management a chance to fix this, so I sent them a direct email. Well, they just chose to ignore it, so here we are. I don’t think I can continue supporting a place that clearly doesn’t care about...

Ordered pizza from here this evening, which was supposed to include dipping sauces, neither of the two dipping sauces were with the order. When I called to ask about it the woman on the phone said "I did it myself, they were in there." When i ensured her that the sauces were not in fact there and asked for them to be sent she replied by saying "we are actually very busy right now, call back in some time." Instead of attending to the issue at hand, she hung up the phone on me and did not provide me with the sauces purchased, nor offered to provide any sort of discount or compensation.

I found her tone and her lack of interest in the error made to be incredibly rude and infuriating. Will not be ordering from here again.

As a further update, I called back, explained the situation to someone else who then hung up and called me back, stating that she ck firmed with two people that they put the sauces in the box and bag and that that was good enough for her to believe that I was lying.

I can accept that restaurants get busy and mistakes are made, but going as far as to insinuate I would lie about acquiring something that I did not is disrespectful and offensive. If you made a mistake, correct it. Bring sauces, take two dollars off the order, something, but don't call me a liar and expect that I will give you...

Honeslty I'm getting tired of being cheated of my money. Their website and their menus at the store clearly state that a pizza and wing combo in size med is 22.99 and yet they charged me an extra dollar on the recipt for absoluelty nothing. To top it off I ordered a large pepperoni and received 2 boxes of the same size (they both looked med) when I confronted the manager he told me oh they gave you 2 large by accident so it works in your favour. I don't believe that and I think I received 2 med, but seeing as I had nothing to compare it with I accepted what he said. This is not the first time they have done something like this. Last time I ordered their largest size and again recived something different (ie XL and received what looked like an L) from what I'd ordered and was told that it was the correct size. Based on other places pizza sizes theirs seem to run a little small or they are lying to their customers. This will be the last time I go to this place because of their unethical bussiness practices. When you make a mistake fix it don't lie to your customers. To add to this why am I being charged an extra dollar for nothing? Very disappointed in...
