During our stay at Hotel Lilot, we decided to indulge in their breakfast offerings, and it turned out to be a bit of a mixed bag. The days without the buffet, where we could order from the menu, were delightful. However, the buffet itself left something to be desired, especially considering the price. The lack of vegetables and fruits, save for three lone bananas, was a bit disappointing. Contrastingly, our dinner experiences were consistently dreamy. The atmosphere at Lilot is charming, though it tends to get quite lively on weekends—an aspect we were willing to overlook. The culinary delights, ranging from mouthwatering pizzas to impeccably prepared fish and meat dishes, were a true highlight. As a guest hailing from Europe, my only wish would be to see a more extensive selection of wines from the region or at least from Canada on the menu. In summary, despite a few breakfast hiccups, our overall experience at Lilot was very positive.

The food and service in the restaurant was at best mediocre, unfortunately, while the hotel and ambience made a very nice impression. Sadly after we spend having lunch with our children, we asked at the reception, if it would be possible to rent ice skates for our children, only to be told that this was only possible for hotel guests. While I understand that free amenities are limited, we found it very regrettable that the hotel would not extend a gesture of hospitality and make an exception, since there was no other way to get even a paid rental. If not for this experience I would have liked to stay at this hotel on our next yearly visit in this beautiful region of Quebec.

Second time here, for breakfast. Hotel and restaurant are still as new as 7 years ago. Service and food are good! Definitely will revisit! (First time) Overall it’s good. The environment and service is great. The wine is also recommended. However, I ordered oyster and it was disappointing. Also we waited almost an hour for our entrée. They did offer another round of bread, which was nice.

Second time staying at this hotel and trying L’ilot’s dinner and breakfast menu for the 2nd time. The first time we visited in the early winter of 2021, dinner and breakfast both were great. However, this time the breakfast took 30 min more than the pick up time, no explanations for the delay, and they missed half of our order so we had to take back the food to explain, etc. Im writing this review while I’m still waiting for my breakfast. Plus, their breakfast menu doesn’t look a lot different than regular breakfast joints. I don’t know what changed since our last visit. There seems to be groups of sports teams staying over the weekend here and the restaurant seems just over loaded and understaffed to manage the group and other regular hotel visitors like us. I loved their food and everything else last time so this is quite disappointing. Dinner is reasonably priced for the quality and 4 star hotel however, I hope they consider improving their...

While the hotel and overall ambiance were truly impressive and gave a great resort experience, I was quite disappointed with the breakfast.

I had expected the same high standard to carry over to the dining experience, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The most concerning issue was the number of flies constantly landing on nearly every item at the buffet. As someone who loves cheese, I was especially disappointed to see the cheese tray completely exposed — the lid was broken and couldn’t be used to protect the food.

Another point of concern was the unclear labeling of food items. For example, there was a mix of pork and beef sausages served together without any proper signage. It’s important to clearly state ingredients, especially for guests with dietary restrictions or preferences.

Had breakfast matched the quality of the rest of the stay, I would have gladly given a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the breakfast experience left a lot...

I recently visited this restaurant hoping for a memorable dining experience, and while the atmosphere delivered, the food sadly did not.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting—soft lighting, tasteful decor, and a relaxed vibe that made it easy to settle in. The staff were courteous, and the overall setting felt like the perfect place to unwind after a long day.

Unfortunately, the meal itself was a letdown. Dishes arrived cold, which immediately dulled the excitement. Most disappointing was the mussel dish: the sauce had solidified by the time it reached the table, and the flavor was off—bland and oddly textured. It felt like something that had been sitting too long before being served.

Despite the promising environment, the food didn’t live up to expectations. I left feeling disappointed, wishing the kitchen had matched the front-of-house charm. With a bit more attention to detail and quality control, this place could...
