I’ve never written a review before, but this was too abysmal not to say anything. We were waiting in line at the restaurant when I noticed their marina area and boat launch. Being intrigued, and not wanting to bother the wait staff, I called the establishment to inquire if you needed to pay to launch personal kayaks from their site. A simple yes or no answer would have sufficed. Instead, the man thought it appropriate to say, “honey, this is a business” in an utterly condescending tone, and then go on to explain to me what a business is. Complete disrespect bordering on sexist (if a man had phoned would you call him “honey”?). I then kindly told him that I was just inquiring, to which he said, “well I’m just telling”. I am still in shock that you would treat a person who was genuinely only asking a question this way. I quickly told my friend to get out of the line and we left. Read moreWe visited this little restaurant during the Covid19 pandemic as one of our first outings since deconfinement. Staff were well presented with either visors or masks and the entrance was well indicated for social distancing. The tables were being adequately cleaned between each client but chairs/arm rests seemed untouched.
We were seated outside on the sufficiently social distanced terrace but close to the only entrance to the marina where there was a lot of passing of people going to and from their boats.
The food was below average and bland despite sounding good from the menu. So, I would only recommend ordering a drink here. We had a pitcher of white sangria and it was good and well priced. The best thing about this place is the view and proximity to the water. The staff are...
Read moreThe best place around!! Burgers are grilled right on an open outdoor grill, scrumptious salads , tasty drinks : white wine for my mom and an IPA for me! I am a proud anglophone québécois , who teaches French in the Yukon, was born and raised Montrealer, and I love the fact that the owners are a proud Anglo family who are perfectly bilingual!! And Knowlton seems to be the last « bilingual town » therefore how this family runs their Marina , c’est merveilleux!!!
