First, the food was tasty (4.5) and relatively decently priced (3.5). Second the music was decent (3) and not bad. From here on, NOT so good: At the beginning, my wife and I were greeted normally and friendly by the male server (3), the main female server (1), NOT so friendly, pushy and almost bite rude.

Female server only waited 20 mins later to see if the food was ok and all was alright. It was a lot of food so both my wife and I asked for our food for take out, she hands us one take out container lol. First, its non hygienic to mix foods together, even if she’s my wife. I ask for a 2nd container take out, her reply “it can go together”. I simply said, are you kidding me, please bring another, because both will not fit in one. Even my wife thought of her comment being rude and bite.

All of a sudden its time to pay the bill, and now she’s being nice lol. Ya sorry way to late. She’s even lucky I left her 10% tip. That’s only because I didn’t want to embarrass my wife, because I was only going to leave 1% tip so the server can ask me why?

Service like that, it might have well been a drive through service (non existent). Stay away from her “non-service and rude...

Went to Le Caucus for a business lunch with a party of 8. Service was great and the waitress was bilingual. She did an excellent job of describing the menu and answering any questions the group had. I ordered the Bavette de boeuf which is French for flank steak. I ordered it medium rare and it was a little more on the medium side but not far enough to complain. The fries were amazing, steak was flavourful and the gravy was tastey. The veg medly was good. Dinner rolls came out just before the mains, they were nice and warm. I was super excited when I heard the dessert menu. I ordered pouding chomeur (aka unemployment pudding) which I was excited to try. It was great, it was nice to try an authentic quebecois dessert. They served it with a shot of heavy cream to pour over it. The groups order came out quickly for a party of 8. I would recommend Le Caucus if your...

Could be better; ordered the Fish & Chips, fish was undercooked, fries were somewhat soggy, coleslaw was good though (which is something I rarely say since I don't even eat coleslaw). Lemonade, while aesthetically pleasing, tasted somewhat bland (leaning much more on lemon water than lemonade). Service was good, waiters were friendly and effective. Nice atmosphere. Good prices for the selection (not quality) of food. I normally would have given 3 Stars out of 5, but I feel like the ratings were unfair; in store, there is a sign that indicated that if you left a review and showed it to the waiter, they would give you a gift. I believe that this had influenced their customers to give ratings that were non-indicative of what they deserve. And for this reason, I am giving it 2...

Great food, cold beer, okay service. Stopped by this place with my family for lunch. The patio outside was full, so we got a table inside. The restaurant was pretty cozy although the table we got was quite wobbly. The waiter helped us make sense of the menu in French. I ordered Fish & Chips which I found really good. My wife got a burger on a charcoal bun (the only type of bun they had). The burger was decent but the bun did not taste right. Our daughter got Steak Poutine which was super delicious. We also tried two local IPAs which were pretty good. A less positive part of our experience here was that the waiter mixed up our orders twice. I’m not sure why he relied on his memory rather than writing the orders down. Overall, we liked the place and will be returning.

Extremely slow to respond, seat, and serve. Will not accept orders at the bar when in a group. Snobby. Waitress said I was trying to get service too quick. It's a French place 🙄 Took 54 minutes to get the poutine. No paper towel in the bathroom and the faucet is leaking
