A group of 20 of us reserved for 6pm last nite to celebrate a birthday. I was one of first to arrive. Nice little place clean, modern. There was a piece of paper on the table with the Table D hote menu on it. I looked over it and didn't see any thing I liked. I called the waitress over and asked if there was another menu. She responded yes, and said we couldn't order from it because we were more than 15 people, and it would confuse the chef. I was stunned. I even told her there was nothing on that menu that I wanted. When the person hosting arrived I told them and they were surprised and said they were never told about that, and said they would have changed restaurants if they had been told. When some guests were a no show, we ended up only being 15 so the host managed to get the restaurant to back down and allow us to order from regular menu, but also told us the wait for our orders would be longer. The staff was overwhelmed. They came out of kitchen with the food and weren't even sure who ordered what. My daughter and I ordered drinks, we only got them after we reminded the waitress that we had ordered them. We asked for our order to come all together, but ended up getting it scattered over time. I ordered a 9$ glass of wine, which ended up being a half glass. My daughter ordered a virgin strawberry daquiri for which we were charged 9.50$ the same price as an alcoholic one. We ordered some peanut dumplings, which didn't taste peanutty at all, tasted more like mayo sauce. The calamari were good, as were the mozza sticks. The rest not so much. Went here last night for a retirement party. What a disappointment. It took us 20 minutes to get drinks. The restaurant was very clean that's why I gave 2 stars and not 1. The waitresses were very slow and inattentive. It was pasta night and alot of us ordered pasta. When everything came to the table they had no clue who ordered what, one waitress stuck her nose an inch from the pasta to smell it then handed it to the person. We all saw it and we're disgusted. The pasta had been made way in advance and had dried out. Two of us got the wrong kind of pasta, the waitress knew this and handed it to us anyways. I'm annoyed at this point and try to stir the dry pasta while she looks at me asking me if it's okay she doesn't change it. I told her it's all dried out and handed it back to her. It was replaced within 5 minutes so if it was that fast to make they could have made it last and not have it sit there. We had to ask multiple times for water and bread as there was not enough for the table. They never offered to refill our other drinks we had to ask. At the end the waitress said it was 15$ pasta night and the meals were much cheaper so we should compensate with a bigger tip for her. I don't even think the tip was deserved at this point but I gave one anyways. Awful awful experience and I won't be giving them another chance. It looks like they can't handle large groups so find another place if you want to have a large group of people for supper. I wish I could say better things! I was really looking for a finer dining place in lachute. However this place was finer dining prices without quality.

The tuna was not fresh nor was the berries with it. The smoked salmon with cheese with mediocre at best. The steak overcooked when requested med rare.

The Pina was great. Sangria also good. Fries good. Salad on par. Dessert was a included cake of sorts. Not my taste but moist. I really did enjoy yhe bread!

The location in lachute in great. The service was good, nothing to pick apart but certainly not outstanding. Tables could have been wiped before seating (outdoors and dirty), forgot our appetizer. They were very nice and polite just attention to details.

Overall for a 200$ plus meal I expected so much better quality. :( the meal was really not great even without...
