Marno's Woodfire Pizza — Restaurant in Lake Country

There is no sign that says Marnos Pizza. Driveway says Blind Tiger, which is actually the Vineyard. Would be really hard to find without Google maps. They certainly aren't getting any driveby business.

Very limited menu. About ten kinds of pizza is it. The homemade thin crust is very good. The sauce tastes homemade, and with a few chilli peppers, it is pretty good. The meat lovers Canadian is tasty, but even a light eater has no problem eating a whole 30 dollar pizza. Typical light topings of a thin crust fire cooked pizza.

The gluten-free crust was better than average, and you get a full-size pizza for your extra 6 bucks.

The sticky toffee pudding was a good serving. They prepared it dairy free, gluten-free and enough for two.

The beer on tap needs to be at least 14 degrees colder. This was not English warm, but it was just cool, definitely not cold.

Really pleasant location. Definitely very pet friendly. Right down to water vowls for your pooch. The resident chickens are entertaining.

Very disappointed. A pizza restaurant that is out of regular pizza dough?! They didn’t tell us before they sat us. After seating us and taking our beverage order, they informed us that they only had gluten free crusts remaining. They didn’t mention the additional $6.20 per gluten free crust, nor did they absorb this extra cost. This may be understandable if they had other options on the menu to order ….but all they serve is pizza! I love that they offer gluten free for celiacs. We’re not and don’t particularly enjoy gluten free crust/breads, so didn’t appreciate the added $31 charge for the gluten free crust. Add to this the scare toppings on the pizzas (in particular the carnivore), this was high price for less than average food. The plus side - our server was...

We really enjoyed our visit to Marno’s at Blind Tiger! Now first, the pizza…10/10! We 100% recommend it! We had the margarita along with the Canadian, both perfectly crafted, crunchy crust and perfect amount of sauce.
