In my relentless pursuit of a simple cheeseburger, I ventured into the realm of A&W, only to be trapped by the mesmerizing allure of their habanero chicken burger. This fiery creation ignited a wild inferno within my senses, a storm of flavours that left an indelible mark on my soul.

I succumbed to temptation and savoured their delectable pies, a brief moment of solace in this gastronomic journey. Yet, fate had more twists in store. When I stumbled upon my forsaken pie later, it was akin to uncovering a hidden truth within a suspenseful drama—a revelation that left me shocked and deeply satisfied.

But amidst these culinary heights, a dark and sinister presence lurked—the chairs. Unyielding and unforgiving, they were like the tormenting villains of a psychological thriller, constantly unsettling my comfort. Their discomfort whispered ominous tales of hidden secrets and unresolved mysteries, echoing the haunting melodies of a dramatic symphony.

Thus, I stand before you, torn between the ecstasy of flavours and the agony of seating. A&W, you are a paradox, a rollercoaster of emotions. In the end, I must bestow upon you a formidable four stars. Order: 2 sausage and eggers on a bun 2 bacon and eggers on a bun Medium coffee 1 cream 1 sugar Extra ketchup in the bag

What we received: 2 sausage and eggers on english muffins 2 bacon and eggers on english muffins Medium coffee with at least 3 cream and 3 sugar, (coffee was white and tasted like syrup) No ketchup in bag

Order: 2 sausage and eggers on a bun 2 bacon and eggers on a bun Extra ketchup in the bag

What we received: 4 sausage and eggers on buns No ketchup

Order: 2 teen burgers, 2 mozzas with 2 fries Extra ketchup in bag

What we recieved: 4 teen burgers, 2 fries, No ketchup in bag

Each of these are small mistakes, but if you cant ever get an order right why even bother having a menu, just scan my card and suprise me i guess 😂

TLDR; ketchup is a commodity thats rare to come by here, and dont order more then 1 thing or...

We visited A&W Lake Cowichan today for lunch after a cold plunge in the lake. There were 13 in our group. A wonderful employee named Megan served us and she was truly an outstanding server. Several of us have worked in the hospitality industry and we were all impressed with the standard of service she provided. The food was great too. In our group we had friends from Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Island residents. We all agreed that this A&W was the best we’d been to in our travels. Well Done Lake Cowichan! We hope to be back again!...
