Potka's Kitchen — Restaurant in Lakeshore

We are just back from our first visit to Potka's Kitchen, and are already looking forward to the next. What a find it is. Knowing nothing of the restaurant, we found that it had good reviews. And they are well earned. We opted for the "Bennies Skillet" and the "Dilly Chicken" pita. Both excellent, the skillet particularly so. All ingredients are very fresh, flavourful, and clearly good quality. Deeee~lish! Even the sides, like the slaw in the edible bowl, and yes, the Onion rings have that hand made flair. The menu is quite large, so tempting options were aplenty. Much to look forward to for sure. We were very well fed at a quite reasonable price. Potka's is tucked away just a bit, but well worth...

Erin was a SUPERSTAR! What a delightful experience of charm, humour, positivity and kindness! This young lady welcomed me into the restaurant although it was almost closing time. She might have sensed my worry over my car stalling on me, and me being so thirsty and hungry on a hot day! She insisted I stay cool in the restaurant, suggested delicious food options and kept me entertained, all while I was worried to leave quickly to let them close up. What a kind person who exemplifies customer service and making a memorable client experience! Wow! 5+ stars for Erin!! Thank you. :) P.S. Erin deserves a significant raise!!! Food was good.. my burger came on a little wood cutting board and was very messy. l and no where really to put it down because they had the onion rings standing up on a skewer.. i prefer a plate ...service awful! Wish I could give ZERO stars. Got the bill b4 we got our food... asked for a pop..had to ask someone else asked for napkins never them...table wiped down yet there was still sticky syrup on it.. ordered 2 yogurt desserts got 1..for a small hole in the wall with maybe 10 tables I would hate to see that waitress in a larger scale place..I really didn't even wanna tip service was that bad! Prob...
