East Foodies Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Lakeside

We Ordered two orders for delivery waited an hour and 20 minutes to have it finally delivered . Upon opening the bag from East foodies Chinese restaurant we found one order of food and our two drinks I proceeded to phone East foodies Chinese restaurant to let them know we had ordered Two orders of Chinese food for supper and only received one, Yes when we looked we were charged only for the one and the two drinks

I stated to the female what had happened and she had said that we could go ahead and order another one and have it delivered, but it would take quite a while as her driver was not there or we could come pick it up. I stated that it was their mistake and that we had ordered two Chinese meals For our supper and we had it delivered because I had been sick and unable to go and pick up the food. She then put her husband on the telephone where he became very loud and combative over the telephone calling me a liar and saying, I only ordered one and only charged for one. I stated that yes we did pay for the one meal and two drinks, but had ordered two meals. He continue to scream over the telephone calling me a liar. And became very loud I found this behavior, quite aggressive and concerning This outburst Was very uncalled for and extremely unprofessional on his part when I was only stating what had happened, I have never experienced such unprofessional and concerning Customer...

Hit or miss sometimes. Lately for us it seems they make substitutions and I had a gf guest for dinner that couldn't eat because they used egg noodles instead of rice noodles in the 2nd dish. They didn't know there was a dietary restriction, but I didn't think it would matter as seemed safe to order as per the menu. But substituting and not checking first is unfortunate. They told me upon pickup but I drove 30 mims and it was already late to wait. As for the other food dishes it was just fine I guess, albeit the spare ribs were a bit dry and not a "fresh" flavor. Advice - let them know in advance if there are any restrictions. It's a lot of money to be unhappy otherwise.

Sure I'll dig through the trash to not be called a liar. Order pic included. Rice noodles but we got the egg noodles. Again. Something was said so fast when I picked it up to the effect of. "It's just as good." After the hour round trip to get it ..for the price.. it should be right. First time....

Little ‘hole in the wall’ type of restaurant. The beef with broccoli was probably the best I’ve had in terms of taste plus the broccoli was cooked to perfection, not soggy, still a bit of a snap when you bit in but it’s not raw. The soo gai was also delicious. The ribs weren’t bad but not something I’d order again as they had an unusual flavour which was almost sweet but not honey garlic, can’t quite place the flavour. The rice was the blandest fried rice I’ve ever tasted, it required a lot of soy sauce to make it taste good. Eggrolls were a let down as well.

The price for the meal was a real winner though. Even with half the meal being not quite what I was hoping for taste wise, and the excellence in the better items made up for the other parts being bland.

Service was quick to seat us, but we didn’t get our beverages until after the meal already arrived and my water was room temperature, no ice. Not super attentive to notice when beverages needed to...
