Buon Gusto is my go to Italian restaurant in Quebec. I can never get bored of this place. The food is always so delicious to the point that you are sad when finishing your plate. The pizzas are amazing! Authentic ingredients but the star is the dough crust which is ny favorite thing about a pizza. This is probably not my first review but yesterday my husband and I went for supper and tried new dishes (because we usually order pizza and gnocchi, so damn good) and we were not let down. We ordered the antipasto as an entrée, generous portion and delicious. My husband ordered the Branzino (daily special) and I ordered the picata al limone. I had their vegetarian pizza and even though I saw a lot of reviews mentioning that the pizza was prepared in a wood oven, I personally couldn't taste the smoky flavour I was expecting myself to find. Nonetheless, I really enjoyed their thin crust pizza. It had an abundant amount of toppings, a decent amount of sauce and it had great flavours. The portion was reasonable, for around 20$, I had a pretty big pizza. With the drink and dessert though, it comes back to a bit more expensive but they are all pretty flavourful and tasted good. The service was pretty good too. Our waiter was polite and respectful but I felt a bit rushed at times and he didn't seem to be too happy or friendly. He was still professional though.
