Restaurant Vieux Dagenais — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

I have been ordering food from this place for a while and I love the food. I never had a bad experience up to today!!! The delivery man was super rude. When he arrived I had the money already prepared in my pockets. I gave him the twenty and reached out for the food to give him the rest of the money that was in my other pocket and he refused to give me my food. So I gathered the rest of the money and gave it to him! He took it and then repeated the number of cash I had to give him for my food! He repeated it for a couple of times till I told him that I gave him everything that was on the bill..... He then looked down to count to see that I gave him the total!!!?!?? I'm so pissed at that delivery guy... And the worst when I looked up at just eat how much I had to pay for the food I ordered it ended up the delivery that is supposed to be "free" was calculated in!!! If I ever order food from them it will be trough just eat and never again trough the phone!! I am really deceived. Get your stuff together...

At first, we were happy to have a new restaurant open in our tiny city. But then, after trying it twice, it's the last time we ever go there, even if we have to starve. The staff is okay, but our experience with service and food is very bad. We ordered regular breakfast, the fries were burnt. We ordered for them to replace, which they did, even the 2nd batch was burned. Check attached the picture of the 2nd batch, it was supposed to come in perfect condition. And worst of all, the lady there asked us: "do you want us to prepare fries for you from scratch?". I mean who would ask such a question, do you expect to serve us old burnt fries or what?

I fully understand why restaurants bankrupt and this one won't stay for...

For my first experience at this restaurant i was told it was really good by a friend so i decided to go order a meal from there and i got a smoked meat sandwich with a poutine and let me tell you..... its not to go place... food was horrible they did not even have steamed smoked meat it was cold cuts of smoked meat that they had heated up in a microwave litterly infront of me and lets not forget about the poutine... the gravy had mutts inside and was not tasty at all... the cheese on it was not even cheese curds... they put mozzarella on it.... if ever you are looking to eat nice comforting greasy food just go to another spot it will be way better than that...
