Urban Café/ Chester's Chicken — Restaurant in Logan Lake

It’s a small restaurant, not many tables. Went in there for lunch as I was in the neighbourhood camping ground lac la jeune and was pleasantly surprised. Because of the delicious breakfast menu I ordered breakfast as well as my friends.

Both presentation and taste of my food was excellent! Absolutely delicious and big portion for great price!!! My favourite was the very tasty homemade soup. The staff was also quite attentive and kept refill my cup of coffee, waitress was very friendly, helpfully and nice. 👍

The restaurant is a typical neighbourhood restaurant but it feels very cozy. The only problem was the local customer who were quite noisy , rude to server and very annoying! Food is regular diner fare... nothing special. Basic meal are fare value but the sides bring it over market pricing in compatible towns in the region. Service is an issue.. waitresses aren't using industry standard training. I.e. being a menu to each table... offer coffee or tea... announce daily special. They are familiar with many customers but don't understand that menus are part of the up sell... even with regular customers... not doing so, costs the cafe $'s. Customers.have to ask or look around the walls to see if there is a special... I never heard any of the waitresses ever ask if a patron wanted desert.. another glorious opportunity to increase...

Owners are rude and ignorant unfortunately. Probably the worst customer service I've had in BC. I've been here twice with the same experience both times roughlt 4 months apart. Was hoping they would improve with their attitude in that time. All these 5 star reviews are from family and friends and the odd person who had a one in a million experience. Food is frozen and reheated. Breakfast cook has no idea how to cook eggs. Bland food with no creativity. I imagine this is what a Dennys is like right...
