Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Unacceptable Service at Popeyes
Dear Popeyes Headquarters,
I am writing to formally express my dismay and seek immediate action regarding a highly distressing experience I encountered at one of your locations. As a longstanding and loyal customer, my expectations for quality service and food have always been met until this unfortunate incident.
On my recent visit, I ordered three Cajun poutines. Upon receiving my order, I noticed that there was no cheese in any of the poutines. Understanding that mistakes can happen, especially during busy hours, I returned to the counter to request a correction or a refund. However, the response I received from the staff member was not only unprofessional but also alarming.
Despite the busy environment—which I fully acknowledge—the basic respect owed to a customer should not be compromised. The employee insisted that I personally dispose of the incorrect order if I wished to receive a refund. After a respectful explanation that I had already returned the food, the conversation escalated unnecessarily. The employee became confrontational, demanding that I leave the store or resolve the matter through physical confrontation outside. This behavior is unacceptable and was particularly distressing as I was with my family at the time.
The situation was eventually diffused by the intervention of other customers, leading to the issuance of my refund. However, the experience left me feeling unsafe, traumatized, and reconsidering my patronage of your establishment.
I urge you to review the surveillance footage of the incident and to reevaluate the training provided to your employees on customer interaction. This experience has shaken my trust in Popeyes, and I am prepared to escalate the matter through social media and other avenues if it is not adequately addressed. I believe that no customer should ever feel threatened or harassed when seeking basic service.

Read moreAbsolutely horrendous service. Was in a few days ago. Was only the second in line and only 1 waiting for food took close to 30 mins to get a 3 piece combo. Was told they were out of mild and spicy and only had 15 chicken tenders ready in the whole restaurant.. I said I would happily wait the 10 mins for spicy. He called back too the young lady with colored hair ( if she was working any slower with the restaurant not having any chicken she would be going backwards, sad excuse for a worker) he called for spicy. After 1p mins she through up mild and the cashier asked if mild was okay or another 10 mins for spicy. And I said screw it and took the mild. My combo was suppose to come with fries and mashed potatoes. Then I was informed they didn't have mashed potatoes and asked if I wanted more fries. Which they had Mayne enough for 3 small fries. And I said yes if I could get a side of gravy with it. And then I was informed that they had no gravy ready either. And when I finally sat down to eat it. Was the worse chicken I have ever had in my life. The taste was unreal. Tasted like I was drinking year old fry oil that had a pound of salt dumped in it. Couldn't even taste the chicken. Was so bad my tongue went numb from the taste. One of the worse food experiences I have ever had in my entire life. Fire all these entitled lazy workers and hire people who want to work. Will never stop there again. Literally left me with a horrible taste...
Read moreif i could give 0 stars i would. food was regular popeyes food, nothing awful about it but the service was absolutely horrible. while the food was good the portions were smaller than other popeyes locations so that was weird. they were facing technical difficulties so we had to order from the kiosk, we had no problem with this but they failed to mention that these difficulties prevented the orders from coming through. this resulted in them using our reciept and trying to fight us on what we ordered. we all ordered combos, and they would’ve known that by simply looking at the price but again they were careless and were acting shocked when we told them they only gave us chicken when we ordered more. also, only 1 person was trying to serve everyone at once while one guy was literally standing in the back just...
