The Lodge Coffee House — Restaurant in Loyalist

When I first walked into The Lodge, I was greeted with warm, welcoming, smiling ladies that were genuinely happy to see me. Cozy, comfortable atmosphere and it smelled so delicious! Everything was fresh and made with love. I had an excellent roasted chicken sandwich with the most delicious garlic mayo! Though I’m not a coffee drinker, the list of fancy drinks sounded amazing and smelled oh so good! Located right in the heart of Bath, a place I’d never ventured to before, they gave me such a reason to come back to visit! First of all let me say their products are excellent. Sandwiches are delicious, drinks are amazing and the people are very friendly. My beef is with the ordering ahead service. I placed my order and selected the soon as possible option. I was issued a pick up timing which I was about 5 minutes early for. While I was waiting to check in, four people placed an order. Some of them being sandwiches. All four people received their orders before me. Why order ahead if you don't get any kind of priority service? Riding our bikes through Bath we saw The Lodge had to stop for coffee..the coffee was terrific and the baked goods were excellent. The girls were great and made our day and we enjoyed our goodies in the comfortable back patio. Just stop here and get some homestyle hospitality!! Will be back! Mike and Sue Review update.
