Warm friendly atmosphere staff seemed attentive and willing to give us as much help or space as we needed, kid friendly with boosters and high chairs. Equipped to seat large groups or get you on your way quickly. They had a large selection and I was having a bit of trouble choosing and a staff member suggested a Reuben sandwich on some In house bread which I really enjoyed with some hearty soup, everyone else I was with seemed happy and content to eat, and satisfied by their meals. The prices reasonable for many appetizing baked products such as pastries and pizzas. A bunch of people showed up all at once and the cashier was able to quickly process their orders avoiding a long queue. A bit of a honour system telling them what you ate while you pay after, which seems unique in the world today and leaves you with a feeling of...

I didnt like mackenzie when i first got here for work but this place single, or well quadruple handedly saved my trip. -20degrees and snowing!? Who cares when you have a hot bowl of homemade soup, or a delicious handmade donut, I cant say enough good things about this place! Counter ladies are friendly and when credit cards and all systems were down they let us do an IOU system!!!!!...

The donuts are old school and fresh every day. You can literally taste the love they're made with. The staff are down to Earth and very friendly. A wonderful experience compared to the Franchise feel of today. Worth the side trip down Hwy 39 alone if traveling on the 97. You will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back and can recommend them to anyone....
