Visited this place for the first time. My mom has always talked about loving their peppercorn burger so we took out so we could finally try one. Service was friendly and waited about 10 mins for our order which was to be expected. I found the peppercorn burger a little dry personally with average taste. My son enjoyed the hotdog. Fresh cut fries were ok but were lacking the little bit of crispness that I enjoy with my fresh cut fries. Overall it was an average meal. Nothing wrong, yet...

I have been here many times over the summer and never disappointed. I love coming here for the breakfast corner. They also make homemade jams, pies and muffins. I Love their deluxe Cafe burgers , they have double bacon and cheese 😍 We always get their poutines with the crispy coated fries (although not cheese curds)...sooo good. Charming and consistent, this seasonal beach side restaurant is a favourite of ours for Sunday morning breakfast.

The staff are polite and smiling, the food arrives quickly and is always piping hot. And while this is a takeaway or patio-only place, we love sitting under one of the umbrellas, all with great views of the lake.

Note that their debit machine is not set up for tipping. Remember to bring a dollar or two or three to leave a highly justified gratuity in...
