Dear Owners of Tim Hortons Maniwaki,
What is going on with this location of yours ? This Tims has lines at the door to the outside , and enough cars in the drive through to create global warming all upon itself.
I've tried the drive through , was there almost a half hour . Tried going in , 25 mins wait in line while the one person working front of house was on low speed staring at the customers piling up in the line outside. What ever happened to service ? What happened to saying "thank you , sorry for the wait" ? I did wait patiently in line as did the other 25 people behind me. 25 mins !!
To be honest it looks like this place needs a manager to show the team how to actually work as a team! I've been in customer service 25 years , and this is what's lacking here . Leadership.
So sad to see a Canadian institution be driven into the ground . So , as of yesterday, I made the choice to unfortunately start to patron MacDonald's . The coffee is great , the bfast offerings better quality and not cold , and I actually was spoken to like someone cared I came to spend my money there . The staff worked promptly , in tandem , to keep the flow of customers at a very steady pace . Great service . Heading over there to givem ' 5 stars right now .
Stay away from this place for now . When the managers , and owners , start to care about their customers please be sure to let us all know . I'd love to come back . You'll find me at MacDonalds getting served, and treated, as a customer .
Sincerely,
A very disgruntled, former loyal customer of your establishment . 0 stars from my rating...
Read moreQuality of service was horrible. We came in for 2 coffees and saw there was a promotion: 3 mini feuillettes for 50 cents if you order a warm beverage. So we decided to order six each, which would be an additional 2 dollars with our coffees according to our reasoning. Apparently this was impossible to calculate in the cash register. We ended up paying $4.80 dollar for these pastries, because we wanted more than the three each. Unbelievable! Our frustration is not about the $2,80, rather than the unwillingness from the personnel towards us. I have worked with clients for years, and never could I imagine to provide such a deplorable service. I would like to point out that we have had nothing but positive experience with other Horton branches, we even had a similar order in another Hortons where we paid $1.50 for nine feuillettes. In general we are Horton fans, but the experience in Maniwaki was a real disappointment. Hopefully this problem will be dealt with for other customers, because if these kinds of stories become a regularly occasion I fear for the future of the...
Read moreUmm, this was just about the craziest Tim's I've ever been to. The other clients were just wacky, some tried to cut past us and the ones in front of us that didn't know what a line was, while another spouted off about one parent killing the other (no, I'm not making this up) but that's not the fault of the restaurant.
However, the rest of the experience was just as bad. The guy taking the orders had to have everything repeated twice by my wife (who is from the town just up the road so no language issues). When we asked if we could get a small Timbits box for the four donuts we ordered, one of the prep workers shouted that we could only get a box if ordered the special donuts, so needless to say when they shoved all four in a small bag they didn't stay intact for long. I had also ordered a bagel with cream cheese and they managed to get almost all of the cheese in the bagel hole and none actually spread on the bagel itself.
It's the only Tim's for an hour in both directions and I don't plan on visiting again when we go to my in-laws...
