This place is an absolute gem in the Albion community! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a delightful array of coffee choices, cold beverages and the warmest, friendliest staff and baristas. The delicious panini, bagels, and those amazing large samosas are simply mouthwatering additions to the already fantastic coffee experience.
The community vibe is enchanting, and it's clear why this coffee shop is so popular among locals. The owner's personalized touch, knowing everyone by name, makes you feel like you're part of an extended family.
Working from this coffee shop is great experience , with ample plug points and air conditioning to keep you comfortable all day. For sunshine â lovers they have large patio as well. And let's not forget the gorgeous library corner, a haven for book lovers.
I can't praise their coffee powder enough! The fact that you can enjoy the same excellent coffee at home is a testament to their dedication to quality.
As a small feedback, it would be great if they could offer more high-protein snacks, perhaps some more egg items for a fulfilling brunch experience.

Read moreI am glad I made the trip to Maple Ridge to try the Kanaka Coffee house. When I arrived, I immediately adored the establishmentâs traditional interior aesthetic and overwhelming cafĂ© drink menu. I was told by the staff that the business has been around eighteen years and is still doing great. Being inside the cafĂ© is like being in a very nice cabin.
I ordered the Wicked Thai Chicken soup and the Pumpkin Spiced Latte with whipped cream. The soup was fantastic and did not taste watered down whatsoever. The Thai chicken was full of piquancy and zest. The latte really stood out with how potent the pumpkin spice was and the whipped cream was a very nice addition. The drink was thoroughly enjoyable with how sweet and flavourful every sip was. I also ordered the Apple Caramel Muffin and the Haystack Brownie; both were very great baked goods to follow-up from the soup. I really like the service there; staff is very friendly.
I thoroughly enjoyed eating at Kanaka and I know everyone that went there does as well. I cannot wait to come to patronize at this...
Read moreWent here because of the great reviews, but didn't care for it at all. We got a couple premade wraps, they had some eggs, meat and potatoes in them. They grilled them but that didn't make them better AT ALL. Soggy, bland, and very weird, not properly heated up at all, hot on the outside cold in the middle. Got a couple muffins, which they heated up for us as well and they were actually pretty nice. We couldn't finish them so we ended up taking half of one in a paper bag. When I went to finish it two hours later, it had turned hard and chewy, so it was definitely not made the day of, one or two days old at least. No reason for it to turn that hard after just a few hrs. Latte was VERY good, so was the service, so that's why they get two stars and not one. Food was overall disappointing at best. In total we paid $30 which would not have been that much if the food had been worth it, butwe left feeling pretty ripped off. I wouldn't go there for anything other...
