I was running some errands today at Pacific Mall and stumbled upon Soul Tea while going up the escalator. There was a huge advertisement for it at the Gourmet Centre, not the Lucky Bridge, and I decided to give it a try. Having previously tried Molly Tea, which I found to be overpriced and frankly underwhelming, I was on the lookout for a better alternative. If you're in the same boat and want to save a couple of bucks, Soul Tea is definitely the way to go!
I ordered the Jasmine Milk Green Tea with Whipped Cream, and it was absolutely delicious! They even provided a spoon and lid, making it easy to enjoy the whipped cream on top. What I loved about the whipped cream is that it's not overly sweet like what you might find at Starbucks or other places. The jasmine flavor was incredibly refreshing and earthy, and it was topped with pistachios. Just a heads up—if you have a nut allergy, you can easily substitute that out.
One of the best parts of my experience was the customization options. You can adjust the ice and sugar levels to suit your taste, which is a nice touch. The employee who served me had a cool style with reddish/pink hair and piercings, and they were super friendly. My order was ready in under a minute, which was impressive!
Overall, I think Soul Tea is a great place that's super underrated. I would highly recommend giving it a try if you're in...
Read moreDecided to try something new and stumbled upon this place. Absolutely blown away! We ordered a Durian Yogurt Slush and the Mulberry Green Tea (no modifications to ice or sugar) and let me tell you, both drinks were delicious!
The durian flavor was prominent but not overwhelming, maybe a little on the sweeter side but that can easily be changed.
Mulberry green tea stayed true to the authentic mulberry flavor and the drink itself has mulberries in it. This one was not too sweet, nor was it full of ice.
It seems like there's only one size and that's your standard large size, as such the drinks average $8-10 (durian drinks go over $10 a little). I would say on the pricier side but absolutely worth it, I haven't had such unique drinks that tasted this good in forever.
Fair warning, my drinks did take a little while to make. It was just one quiet guy in this little shop and I watched him make some of the ingredients from scratch. Just goes to show the place focuses on quality but if it's a busy day for them, you may have to...
Read moreDon’t get bubble Tea here. I wanted to try something new without looking at Google reviews. But, I regret the decision. I visited last weekend, I got the mango pomelo and the avocado smoothie. None of those options are good. The mango pomelo slush just had a ton of toppings with sugar juice you don’t taste the mango or the pomelo with slush ice. the avocado smoothie tastes like cheese and smells like spoiled cheese. Maybe the yogurt was expired or something but we just threw everything out we couldn’t enjoy it. I say just stick with the big...
