Sumptuous Treats — Restaurant in Markham

I was really pleasantly surprised and impressed with the custom cake we got for a one year birthday party. We asked for a brown bear playing golf and not too dark colours. Originally we asked for a 4 inch cake to serve 6 to 8. Without being promoted, she showed me pictures of 4" and 5" cakes to make sure that I got what I needed. And she was right, what I needed was the 5" cake. Also, the bear she made and the colour scheme she chose just happened to match the decorations perfectly!!! And, what everyone was completely wowed about was the landscape she "painted" all around the cake. It looked like an oil painting. It was incredible. Soooo much better than we were expecting. It was unique, beautiful, sophisticated and still very cute. Also my husband had a mishap during transportation and she was really quick to reply with suggestions on how to fix it. Still...

I found Sumptuous Treats after googling cake bakers in the GTA and was blown away by Anna’s instagram. Even with short notice she accepted my inquiry for my son’s birthday cake & she did an incredible job! She is an absolute expert in her craft. I sent a reference photo and executed it perfectly - even added some touches that made it better than I could’ve ever imagined. She is so kind, flexible & understanding. She answered every single question I had & was incredibly accommodating.

It was such a hit with the birthday party and every guest asked me who made it and went for seconds! I would 100% recommend Anna to anybody looking for the perfect treat for a special occasion. I look forward to the next event I get to purchase...

I had asked Anna to create a 40th birthday cake for my Toronto Raptors loving husband and boy did she deliver!!! I literally threw every idea and picture at her of what I was looking for and somehow she knew exactly what I had envisioned. Anna is professional and so accommodating and her vanilla cake suggestion was the perfect choice for our party. Everyone loved it and even people who normally don't eat cake asked for more! Another important thing to note was that Anna was going out of town around the time that I needed to pick up the cake so she made sure to have it ready prior to her leaving and even though I picked it up 4 days earlier than the party date, it still tasted fresh and moist! I highly recommend...
