Marmora Pizza — Restaurant in Marmora and Lake

The best pizza we've ever tasted and always recommended to friends and family and it is run by an Asian couple. However, last night the family were up from overseas and my son who was at home ordered two pizzas while we were in Belleville for them to taste when we got back home. He called us to find out what time they close so that we could pick up the pizzas on the way home (he should have done this before ordering) and I told him to call them to make sure they close at 9pm. He called me back to say they close at 7pm (even though they advertise they close at 9pm) and I told him to call them back and cancel because we weren't going to make it back by that time and, it was raining and they would have had to walk 1/2 hour in the rain to pick it up and 1/2 hour back. Today we went there to order two pizzas (we really wanted our visitors to taste this pizza) because when my husband called the person who answered the phone dropped the phone on him. We thought it was just a missed connection so decided to drive down to order. The woman never said anything to me just took my order and turned away. When I got into the vehicle I told my husband she was in a very bad mood today as she never said anything to me just wrote down the order and turned away. When we returned at 7pm to pick up the pizzas she was irate and told me what happened the night before (we order from them quite a few times so they know us and our phone number). I explained that we were in Belleville and would have been back long after they were closed that's why I told my son to call and cancel. She told me he never called to cancel and in any case the pizza was already made and that he only called to find out what time they closed. Well, when I got home I lit into my son for not calling and cancelling as I had told him. My daughter and step son got on my case and told me that's not true because they were sitting right there in the living room when he called back and spoke to a man telling him the situation and that he was sorry as they had no way to pick up the pizzas as the car broke down and he had to cancel the order. When I was leaving with my pizzas tonight the woman told me not to ever call them again. Take it how you would but this is totally bad customer service especially lying to me that my son never called to cancel. I feel that I should report this which I think I must do. Think there is Pizza Pizza and Square Boy but Woody Burger in Havelock is...

If I could rate it ZERO I WOULD. My family and I have been ordering the pizza here for 5 years. The customer service has NEVER been outstanding, but we like the zza nonetheless. We have always ordered our pizza with pepperoni ON TOP of our ingredients and they have always accommodated. This time, we requested the same simple request. The woman on the phone told me that she would not do that for us. No reason. Just no. I asked why and she was silent. After about 30 seconds I'm like "Hello?" and she says, no I will not do that for you. I asked why again, and she said no I do not have to do that for you. And HUNG UP ON ME. My mom called back and said that we have been ordering from them for a long time and that she thought it was very rude to have been given a straight no, with no answer, as maybe things changed. She said no, she does not have to do that for us and we can take our business elsewhere! Unbelievable! They ignored a very simple request, and lost a very loyal BIG family...

EXTREMELY!!!!!!Rude and never saw a more sour look on a face in long time. Also as I find out late not the cleanest . Walked in for first time ever and politely asked if there was a problem. The look just got worse. Again , very politely told her was first time ordering pizza there and is there a problem. She demanded what I was ordering. No I don’t need your attitude I will go else where and still , maybe not so politely as before but still better then way she talked and looked at me. After checking with family and friends who have lived there quit a few years I find that is the norm and I was lucky to not have dealt with the husband. I ask how the hell do they run a business with attitude like that especially in a small town. Worse even is the fact that when I mentioned this to friends and my girlfriend I’m told the place is not the cleanest. I very seldom leave comments but this threw me. Only gave one star because didn’t know how to open...
