Boulangerie Toujours Dimanche Inc — Restaurant in Matane

This boulangerie was highly disappointing. They said that everything either had peanuts or was in contact with nuts. I ordered a soup and a croissant sandwich for my kids thinking they would be the least contaminated since it's not a pastry item. The staff threw the soup on our table without saying a word or explaining that we needed to or where to find cutlery. No water available. I took a small bite of the croissant (which was tiiiny) and instantly knew it was contamination with nuts. That tells me what a mess the kitchen is. Small portions, messy kitchen, abysmal...

== French == Nous avons laissé un bon pourboire dès la commande de nos boissons et plats, mais le service était lamentable. Le barista était de mauvaise humeur et nous a servi des boissons sans lait d’avoine. Le reste du personnel n’a même pas apporté mon plat – j’ai dû demander : « Où est mon plat ? » Mon ami avait déjà fini de manger pendant que j’attendais encore.

Le pire ? Sur le reçu, ils ont écrit « sourd et muet » sous ma commande de boisson, alors qu’ils ne m’avaient même pas demandé ou confirmé cette information. C’est totalement inapproprié et offensant. Et à quoi ça sert d’indiquer ça sur la commande si vous ne faites même pas attention aux clients ?

Ce restaurant a vraiment besoin d’une formation culturelle et de respect. Retournez à l’école et apprenez à traiter les gens correctement.

We gave a good tip upfront when ordering our drinks and food, but the service was terrible. The barista was in a bad mood and gave us the wrong drinks without oat milk. Other staff failed to deliver my food—I had to ask, "Where is my food?" My friend finished his meal while I was still waiting.

The worst part? On the receipt, they labeled me as "deaf and mute" under the drink order, even though they never asked or confirmed this. Totally inappropriate and offensive. If you are not paying attention to your customers, why even put such a label?

This place needs serious cultural sensitivity training. Go back to school and learn how to treat people...

Expensive for the quality. The croissant was slightly burnt, but was still better than the scone which was very dry. A small vegan sandwich with salad already wilting for $7.25 I find excessive - but this one was really delicious otherwise. I asked for the coffee and the pastries to be eaten there and yet we got them in paper bags and cups. The gentleman who served us was nice and efficient. Coffee was dark roast, okay for our taste.
