Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Melancthon

Arrived around 1pm. Lineup for two general use washrooms. Washroom was disgusting and I could not use it. Reported it to staff who did not really seem to care. No action taken in the 30 minutes I was in restaurant.

Ordered chili meal. No one asked if I had a points plan so that was missed. After waiting 5 minutes for it to come out I was then informed there was no chili I was offered soup instead. It took a further 5 minutes to come out. Shouldn't the kitchen staff not inform the front counter sales staff when a product is not available for sale? I then noted to staff that chili meal I paid for was a higher price than a soup meal. She shrugged and I suggested I should receive a refund. She went to ask and offered a 2nd donut as compensation. Being hungry waiting 10 minutes for meal, I took her offer. When I requested an apple fritter, I was told there was none, same for the Boston Cream, not available! While waiting I watched one staff member place a very large portable coffee urn on floor then pour another whole urn of coffee into it. On the floor! Seriously, isn't that a health violation? At least do it out of customer's view! There was plenty of staff who were far more concerned waiting on drive thru customers over the 6-8 waiting inside for service. The tables all needed to be wiped down. The garbage bins inside were actually overflowing to point you could not put more garbage or recyclables into them. Needless to say, I won't be going...

We have tried this place about 10 times on weekends (between the hours of 7:30-9:30am) and 8 or 9 of those times they have said they do not have sausage or egg "ready".

More often than not with 5 cars ahead from the order box to the window they could have fried up more eggs to complete the order. Seems like the weekend morning crew is happy to avoid making food.

I make the further drive to the one in town. This one is fine if all you want is coffee, but if you are after a breakfast sandwich you are wasting your time in line.

Edit: Another glorious visit. Order 10 timbits half chocolate glaze half honey dip, get home to find 8 birthday timbits and nothing else.

Edit 2: another fantastic visit to the worst Tims in the world. See photo - this is now the third chicken noodle soup that has been this way. Its literally a full chicken breast stuffed into a cardboard cup with a few noodles. Disgusting. The photo doesnt do it justic. Some of these chicken pieces are 3+ inches wide. You would need a knife to cut some of the pieces before eating them. I have never seen anything like this.

Cross chicken noodle soup off the list of things this location does properly.

The dont slice their bagels in half, either. Even if its dead and slow you get the full bagel together every single time.

This place is managed by someone who has never worked at a fast food location in...

I come here every morning and there always seems to be a problem with either my food being wrong or the the attitude from the drive thru people. I’m absolutely sick of this service I’ve been getting here after spending hundreds of dollars here. Something has to change with this location. It’s been like this since day one of opening. Would strongly avoid going here.

EDIT- Yet again another day of attitude coming from the employee’s that work here. Rose specifically always seems to fight back when you explain nicely something in the order is missing or you didn’t even pick that food item for example. Total zoo at this location over and over again. I asked for a Nutella donut and they charged me a vanilla dip, but continued staying they gave us everything already. Rose then asked us to pay for the donut but had already charged us for the other one. Maybe use your ears next time and listen to the order instead of fighting the person. THIS IS THE LAST TIME ILL EVER VISIT THIS LOCATION. You just lost service forever. Highly recommend the Tim’s location beside the beer...
