New Orleans Pizza — Restaurant in Minto

Ooof I hate doing this but this place was Rough. Customer service was pretty rough, I ordered a sub and a slice of fresh pizza. While ordering the sub I was asked if I want lettuce, tom, and onion. I'm not fan of onion or tomatoe so I said no tomatoes, no onion, the response was so you only want lettuce on your sub?? There was a giant list full of ingredients in front of me and I was like well what about those vegetables on that list? Are they allowed on the subs, I was begrudgingly told I could add them like I was an inconvenience or something. I get the sense I would've had lettuce only had I not asked. While I was waiting I thought I'd comment to the other guy how good everything smelled. I was given a super frustrated whaaaaa with a very grump how dare you interrupt me look to which inreplied again it smells really good in here a bit louder. I got ZERO response except for some angry muttering to himself as he wandered away and ignored me. Oooof 🤦‍♂️. The food- i got a Hawaiian slice. Ingredients were very mediocre, and to top it off my slice was half raw/doughy. I couldn't even finish it. I thought to myself well good thing I got this assorted sub, that'll save the day. Errrr no. Again very mediocre ingredients, only 1 type of bread, only 1 size (12") and the bread they had was not very fresh nor tasty, the meat tasted cheaper then cheap as well as the cheese (again only one option).

On a positive note the place seemed clean, and oddly enough the lettuce was very good 🤷‍♂️

All in all though, skip the lettuce and just go eat elsewhere. No need to feel like an inconvenience just to eat awful food that you've overpaid for... 19.50 🫣 I...

I ordered a Large cup and char pepperoni pizza, SWEET cinnamon knots and a bacon cheddar loaf.

After I placed the order online the owner called and said he didn’t have the cup and char pepperoni which I was sad about but totally understood and asked if we could just do double pepperoni instead. He agreed and also mentioned that the cinnamon knots were a small portion so I reluctantly agreed to order a second to ensure we had enough. I now have two boxes of the worst cinnamon knots ever made. They cooked the pepperoni under the cheese which was absolutely disgusting…. We had soggy pepperoni…barf.

The sweet cinnamon knots were gross they were plain and dry and only had what seemed to be plain cinnamon sprinkled on top. Nothing sweet about them. It was a chalky feeling with every bite.

Even the garlic loaf had the bacon cooked under the cheese, just didn’t taste good at all.

Great job! I used the online ordering system, plenty early for an event I was planning. They were quick to call and verify and suggested I call closer to the date to verify. They called me to verify 2 days prior ( I was minutes away from calling them😊). On pick up day, they were ready and delicious 😋. Would definitely use them again! Highly recommend them! Only downside is for bacon lovers, don't have bacon strips on the website listing of toppings and use bacon crumbles --they are NOT the same, especially because you charge double topping for strips, and not for crumble. 😡. Lesson learned...
