Great bread. That's about it. Every single time I go in I feel unwelcome, almost as if I'm a burden. The pastries are visibly left out overnight to dry out. Have purchased bad canollis, turnovers and cakes on several occasions. Most recently I was sold expired copocollo from their deli. I truly wasn't all that surprised when I discovered it after getting home as no one ever gets deli meat there. I've tried to like this place, I can not.
Edit: Swallowed my pride and just returned to Deri for fresh bread. Was served by the owner (female) who fetched it for me. She put her mop down and grabbed my italian baguette with her bare hands and bagged it for me. When I got home I noticed how incredibly old the baguette is. Why do you bother? Why are you selling garbage to your customers? I paid $3.00 for a dirty cruton. Retire....

Latte was ok last time, but before that tried a decaf one and it was absolute yaki under excracted liquid. And maracons- oh boy, don't waste your money on those, this week I got a couple and they were soooo old, I nearly broke my teeth. Wanted to take it back and ask for my money, but realized that I already threw them in the garbage. Maybe some packaged good are OK, but i am definitely not going back anymore...
