This is what I posted for this restaurant a year before as I was so much delighted to have a meal such good that they deserved all the praises

“I was recommended this place by one of my friends who recently moved to Canada. I always use to tell him it is nearly impossible to give the taste buds an adventurous awakening which was found in the famous corners of Dehli. But, I must say being a picky eater this place did not disappoint me. One thing I like the moment I ordered food was humbleness and politeness they have for customer while being super duper busy. Most of the restaurant don't care how they speak with customers when they are busy and end up losing customes. Please don't loose this quality of yours. I highly recommend this place to give your taste buds a roller coaster ride and you will enjoy it at every corner.”

Sadly, I went there yesterday and ordered my usual. I was so disappointed with the food as it was full of salt nothing else. The quality has degraded with time. Tandoori momos was not tandoori but sautéed in a full of red colour chilli garlic sauce. I mean I could literally taste the colour. The chaps were flavourless, salty and dry.

I was excited to visit them after so long as I came back in area and wanted to treat myself with good food. But, I believe I was destined to have a bad dinner yesterday.

I wish they can bring back the same service and food I praised them for.

2 stars coz I still know you guys...

i drove all the way from square one mississauga to this place JUST TO WASTE MY MONEY. This was my second time visiting this place and PROBABLY THE LAST TIME. The first time i went, i loved the ambience and the food. i went today for the second time and the experience was horrible. we waited in line to order stuff and i was told that they will call me when my order is ready around 25 min. i went back out to my car. after 45 minutes i went and asked for my order, they searched and it was lying around in the corner and was cold as hell. i asked why they didnt call me when it was ready and they said :: we were busy. that was insulting. i took the order and came back home and the order was cold and bad. i order malai chaap that came out of box because it was not properly packed. i also ordered mint chaap roll and the roll was crushed and filled with oil and watery and saugy. i tried to call them but they never pick. i had to to garbage the food since it was not in a position to be consumed. the prices are on the HIGHER end i just wasted my money.

i felt insulted and not taken care off. i know its covid time but if you cant handle customers effectively then dont invite too many customers in and dont take infinite orders which you cant fulfill.

WORST EXPERIENCE. didnt wanted to give any star but the system...

So today morning i was driving back home listening to 88.9 fm and i heard about punjabi chaap corner eat and review event and it was mother’s day so i thought we should give it a shot. The location is very conveniently located. We saw Red fm even still on when we reached and it was too much fun. We got our coupons for the food and we were offered a platter. Platter consisted of : pav bhaji , newly launched veg kheema and kulcha , tandoori paneer momos, malai chaap, spring roll. Please believe me all the items were delicious. Personally i dont like malai chaap but believe me i finished it all as it was so yummy. The food was very well cooked with good quality oil because i didnt feel any bloating or itchiness after eating which I experience with most of the other restaurants. Star of the platter was : Veg spring rolls, i can still feel the taste and crunchiness in mouth. All the staff were very warm and welcoming. Prices are also very reasonable. Whole event was very well arranged. A big THUMBS UP from my side !! I would definitely recommend it to Family and friends. We enjoyed alot, thank you very much for the delicious lunch and making our mother’s day memorable.. I would rate it more...

The Punjabi Chaap Corner was an overall decent experience. But the flavours just didn’t hit right, we got the Amritsari chaap, mint chaap and Afghan Momos. Amritsari chaap was suggested by the cashier as the popular, mild, creamy-based tandoori style chaap. Overall better than the mint one, but was still dry in my opinion, and lacking some flavour. The mint chaap was not it, I expected something a little different, it was very salty and dry. Afghan paneer Momos was better in tasting; flavourful, and the gravy was sweet/spicy/ mild and something expected when you eat steamed gravy Momos. The service was quick; got the 3 items in 15 mins; and the music and ambiance of the restaurant were trendy and welcoming. The staff were also very nice, and easy to talk to.

The place is kinda ok. Ordered tandoori momos, chatapata chaap and kadhai chaap. They didn't had the chaap biryani at that time. Mango shake is slightly overpriced than compared to Mango Lassi and mango Lassi is better in taste. Overall good for 1st time experience but I won't go for multiple times for multiple reasons. To start with, they have only one size plate option. Momos are not worth it although chaap(s) are still fine. I would suggest to have/include better portions or to include more than one size plate. So that 3-4 serves can easily be made. Like other restaurants provide shareable options for better quantity. Or may be even a platter option. Sitting option is good. Parking space available too.
