Route 6 Spicy Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Moncton

Went to Route 6 for Lunch with the Wife to be. This ain't a location that you would hear often to eat in but perhaps after this review you will be curious to go. It's a Motel / Bar / Slot Machine And Restaurant. This review today will be for Food only as i did not experience any of the other 3 things they had to offer.

Me and the Girl opted for the Homemade Beef Burger. The burger come with a Fresh slice of Tomato, Lettuce, Cheese, Onions and was also serve with Crispy Fries & Homemade Coleslaw.

Often when i order a burger .. I need to add Ketchup and Mustard or other condiments. Not at Route 6. No sir. The Thick Homemade Burger Patty was surrounded by the Melted Cheese and also had a Homemade Sauce that was better then Ketchup.

Presentation was good. There was even a little piece of Herb on the Top of the Fries. Nice to have a piece of Green on my Fries. Felt like i made a Healthy Choice. The Burger also had a Pickle on top of the Bun with a Toothpick.

This is my second time at this place and twice the Chef came to ask how we liked the food. I personally like that because i can ask question directly and perhaps make recommendation if needed.

So upon his arrival i asked about the Sauce in the Burger. after our little discussion he told me that he will bring 2 Homemade Sauce to try as well. One was a Smoky Sauce flavor and the other one had a Spicy Kick to it. Both were better then Ketchup to dip my Fries in. I Actually recommended that they add that on the menu as a Substitution of ketchup for fries.

Then where there was few bite left in my Burger i put a glaze of the Smoky sauce on my burger. Yummy this was.

At the end my Girl was not able to finish her Cesar Salad as she was full and as always ... i eat for 2 so i gladly finish her Salad.

Cesar Salad was really creamy and it's Homemade Sauce. AND The Chef was not Shy on the Bacon in the Salad. Was a great way to finish this Meal.

Overall guys ... Totally Worth 9.99$ If you go for lunch before 2H every dish is 9.99$ and all Apps are 6.66$ A Lunch and a App for 17$ is good.

I Give 2 Thumbs up for the Homemade Burger and will return to Try perhaps the Jerk Chicken. I went in Jamaica once and EVERYTHING is Covered in Jerk sauce over there and i loved it .. Pump for the next item on the Menu.

Food is delicious but order it as room service or take out, service was non existent. Aside from the wait for them to take our order she brought my friend her food and gave me the wrong order. When I mentioned this wasn't my food she said that's what I ordered and pulled her notepad out to show me which is when she realized I infact did not order that. She asked me to eat it anyway to which I declined. At that point she said she'd ask the cook to make what I asked for. About 30mins later she comes back and says a large table of guests that came after us are getting their food made before mine because she forgot to tell the cook. So my friend ate her food and mine came an hour later. Pop was flat. Atmosphere is loud and and full of drunks. I only tipped because the food was good and wasn't right to not tip the cook. This was the first time I ate here. Ordered everything you see on the pictures. We chose this place because of the reviews. But our experience was not. The staff was nice but no follow up was done to check in with us after our food was served and it wasn't busy and there was 2 waiters. Cost with a 4$ tip was 90$ for the below plates for the 4 of us with 3 pops and a beer. The beer was flat and so was the pop. We ask for honey garlic on the side and they brought out hit sauce, coleslaw wasn't very good it seemed watery. We ordered wings and they were over cooked, dry and black in the middle.
