Overall, the restaurant has a good atmosphere, which is surprising if you consider the looks of the building from the outside. The appetizers are simple, but great. However, I can't say the same for the main dishes. They're simply horrible. They're made from cheap condiments that seem like they ironically came from Thailand, as it's a thailandese restaurant. One of the waitresses bearily speaks the language. We ordered our dishes, but one us didn't get what he asked for. I ordered the vietnamese chicken, which I didn't like. It was sort of cold and was way too sweet. We all came to the conclusion that they don't seem to understand what balance is when it comes to flavours. Our food was either too sweet or too bitter. For the dessert, I ordered a fried banana, or something like that, which once again was simple but was what you'd expect for a dessert. I won't eat here ever again, I've came here twice and I'm disapointed that I had to go twice to finally make that decision. Basically, everything is cheap as hell, and tastes just as bad...

We went on sunday evening with phone reservation, they told us to come no problem!
The place was not busy.. only 45 small tables with customers including ours. We were seated there for 2 hours, our order was not even being prepared nor beginning to be prepared... althrough they brought us our simple appetizers with poor taste...
We asked why so much delay they said it is too many customers, come on...
After 2 hours of wait, we could not wait another 50 minutes, had to leave feeling upset, 2 hours wasted...
If they had staff issue to handle 45 tables, they should not take our reservation! Or at least tell us about the delay in advance so that we will not waste so many hours for nothing.
We paid for the appetizers that we ate. They did not even warn us or explain about the delay. No apologies till we...
Fleur d’Alis : A hidden gem in Mont-St-Hilaire!
From the first bite to the last, everything at Fleur d’Alis is simply delicious. The Tom Yum soup, crispy mini egg rolls, and our main dishes were bursting with flavor and clearly made with love.
But what truly makes this place special is Dalis, the heart and soul behind it all. She’s an amazing woman who pours her heart into every detail, and it shows in the quality of her food and the warmth of the atmosphere.
The restaurant itself feels like a cozy trip back to the 80s, in the best possible way : cool piano and jazzy tunes, retro charm, and a relaxing vibe that makes you want to stay for hours.
I recommend Fleur d’Alis 💯, not only for the food, but because every visit supports a hardworking, family-oriented local business that truly...
