Ordered a jalapeño bagel toasted with butter. They burnt it severely and it tasted completely acrid. When I went back in to request a replacement that was not burnt, I was initially rebutted and told it wasn’t burnt despite the cut surface being entirely black - not just a little overdone. The lady at the drive through was busy announcing to her fellow staff that she was the best while simultaneously rebutting customer feedback on served food being prepared improperly.
Upon insisting for a replacement they told me there are no more of these bagels and that I had to choose another variety and that I wouldn’t receive any refund from moving down from the specialty more expensive bagel to a standard one. Upon choosing my downgraded bagel they toasted it for 5 seconds and asked if a toasted bagel exhibiting no colour was fine. I said that I still wanted it toasted but not burnt and they seemed to somehow find this to be an outlandish and irritating request. The cook immediately increased hostility towards me, muttering obscenities at me when handing me the bagel and afterwards.

They had two other people ordering at the front cashier. What I don't understand is that as my order has not been made after about 10 mins. The cashier proceeded to take more orders in instead of making the orders that were on queue. I waited for another 5 mins and I noticed that the people that ordered from the cashier got their orders already. Before me. A person that has been waiting 15 mins for two coffees. Then I found out what it was. The orders on the kiosks were on a seperate queue line that noone was focusing on. When I brought up that others that ordered after me were getting there orders before me they had the audacity to tell me they are very busy. I've been in here for 17 mins and after me there wasn't many people that came in after. The issue was that they were served before me. The employee did not apply my coupon, and the order was incorrect. We ordered ten different kinds of sandwiches, and none were labeled. When we asked for assistance in identifying them, the staff rudely told us to open each sandwich and check ourselves. Additionally, we ordered orange pekoe tea with two creams, but it was served without any cream, essentially just water with a tea bag. We also found a hair in one of the sandwiches.
Despite these issues, we initially decided to overlook them, thinking the staff might be having a bad day. However, the overall experience was humiliating and caused us a great deal of stress during our 7-hour drive.
