Wow. What a wonderful brunch experience!
First of all, it's a steal at $35 (if you reserve ahead) for 750ml of cider mimosa and all you can eat brunchy goodness. And this is not lazy brunch items at all but surprisingly refined with thoughtful flavors. Silky well seasoned scrambled eggs, beer marinated bacon, maple syruped glazed ham, garlicky and sweet crispy roasted potatoes? YES PLEASE! Pancakes drowning in maple syrup were a big favorite with my Quebecois friends, predictably.
The environment was very clean and cozy and one of my friends who used the loo confirmed that it was very clean as well.
Last but certainly not least were the two AMAZING servers I had: Hugo and Janaya. Genuinely sweet, thoughtful and charismatic people who were a joy to converse with, when they had a moment to talk. It was heartwarming to hear how much they enjoyed working there and with their team (a rarity in the restaurant business, I'm gathering). Overall, I can't praise this place enough and it'll surely become a regular spot for me...

I was offered the choice of having a meal on the house for myself (and the four guests I was with) or a refund. I appreciate the restaurant's willingness to improve and, as a result, felt it would be best to afford them a second chance. I have yet to return, but sincerely hope that the second visit will be better than the first!
If I could leave zero stars for my food experience I would. Most of the food was bland, but the brisket dip sandwich was AWFUL. For $27, I'm appalled that the restaurant confidently served the meal to me. 85% of the meat was fat and inedible. Their so-called brisket also resembled an overcooked roast beef. So disappointed. Will not return and will not advise anyone to frequent this...
Read moreCame here after the glowing reviews to taste the craft beers. Now I have to comment that this is a pure review of simply the beers.
The service was amazing, the ambiance was a great and honestly super cute place to hang out. The biggest sour note was simply the beer. So we tried 6 different beers and although I do love craft beer which is probably why I didn't enjoy the place as much, it was clear the beers were all quite watery.
I had high hopes as the reviews was so positive and it really made me want to try it out. My friend loves sour beers, so clearly we had to try a good mix of the sours and I love strong IPAs. It seemed to be the perfect place that offered the mix of both of our beer favorites. Unfortunately, it wasn't satisfying and didn't meet our expectations.
Would return for food but probably...
