Harvey's — Restaurant in Montreal

When there for work lunch with a colleague we each had a trio of the big Harvey. I think it's called or something like that and it was just shy of $20 each for the burger double Patty with an onion ring and a drink 20 bucks. So we order it's lunch time. It's maybe like 12:20. Not sure but we order and we see the guy. He has so many patties all piled up next to the grill and he takes two patties for each burger and puts them on the grill. They were already cooked so we're having like not fresh burgers. They're already cooked. They're not even in a worm jar. They have drawers but they don't keep it hot. It's just the little drawer to keep it in there. It's really not appetizing so it took a while to be served. They didn't remember to put in the onion ring cuz I asked for onion rings instead of fries. But sure enough as soon as there was onion rings ready the other guy was not serving me. Took them and gave them to someone in the car. A drive-thru so they prioritize car drive-thru over their customers. Waiting in line at the cash where I was so my burger was ready for a long time in the bag and they had to make a new batch of onion rings which I I watched the guy from the cash go and make so that took a long time. My burger already. Like I said the Patty was on the side of the grill so it was not hot that they just passed it on. The grill for a couple of seconds was not enough. So when I got my burger it was cold. My onion rings were too hot to eat and my burger was cold so and I'm also posting a picture of the napkins. They don't give you napkins. They give you a piece of a brown paper. They don't have napkins. I'll show you the picture. They have a brown vulgar roll that they tear off by hand and they give you like a piece of paper instead of a napkin. I asked for extra napkins. My friend didn't even get napkins in his bag and the bags. The napkins I got were pieces of paper. They had a whole pile of torn paper that they gave to everybody over there. They literally don't have real napkins. It's unbelievable. The service took long. The burner was cold. The price was high and the cherry on the cake was the napkin. You get some piece of brown paper. Someone tore off a roll by hand. Very nice to wipe your mouth with. Anyhow I wouldn't recommend it. The food wasn't good. It was very high price. One eat a burger and a fryer. You don't want to pay 20 bucks so I suggest to go elsewhere, anywhere or not around that building will be a...

I generally avoid writing a bad review for anyone because I realize the hard work that goes into running a restaurant, but not in this case. I ordered the buffalo chicken burger with cheese (extra 80 cents) no big deal. Since it’s an open kitchen right behind the counter so I got a chance to see how my meal was being prepared. The guy doing the fries caught a few 2 times with his bare hands and just chucked it in the fryer, the other dude preparing my sandwich took the fried piece of chicken and dipped it probably in Franks hot sauce tub, re heated it put it between the bun and once again just like his friend working on the fryer picked up the sandwich with his bare hand with an empty tong in the other hand. Then comes the lady who was suppose to do the filling of the sandwich finally wore a pair of gloves with 0 interest on her face trying to do me a favour ( as if) finally gave an ending to my sandwich with no cheese lol. Anyways never seen such a sloppy service, but to my surprise when I picked up my tray to find a table to sit down and eat what Do I see next? My husband just visited Harvey's and he's very disappointed in the way he was served. Cashier was mute and nodding her head until she finally said a word to realise she had her ear pods in her ears and talking to a friend on her personal phone. Then he moves to the condiments counter to realize that employee also is talking to a friend on her phone with the pods in her ear. He ordered 4 trios and she placed 1 order of fries in the bag. My husband said I ordered 4 trios I'm missing stuff shes then spoke and answered him oh what was it you ordered. After telling her she then said okay here have a good day but yet no drinks were given. He said the drinks she told him they are self serve. He said I still need cups to self serve myself. At the drink station everything was empty or not working. I think we might have to X Harveys like a few other places...
