Istanbul Rumeli Restaurant — Restaurant in Montreal

The first time I visited Rumeli, the food was great, and I really enjoyed it—that’s why I decided to return. However, after four months, my experience today was disappointing, and I’m giving it two stars.

The chicken doner was excessively fatty—while some fat is expected, this time, it was overwhelming. The sauce’s flavor has changed, and the salad felt like an afterthought, just a few shredded ingredients tossed into a container.

Additionally, the cashier seemed uninterested in her job, giving off the impression that serving customers was a burden rather than a responsibility. A welcoming character would show customers that their business is truly appreciated. Being rude clearly tells customers you don’t need their business.

I’m excluding ambiance from my review since this is a startup, and I don’t want to discourage a new restaurant. However, I do hope they make improvements in both service and food quality to match the standards they...

I had an incredible dining experience at Grillades Mediterraneennes Turkish Restaurant with my son! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch.

We ate with my son and tried the kebabs, which were cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the seasoning was just right. The portion size was generous, and we left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied.

The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was also cozy and inviting.

I can't recommend Grillades Mediterraneennes Turkish Restaurant enough. If you're a kebab lover like me, you'll definitely want to check this place out. It's a gem in Montreal, and I'll be returning for more delicious meals in the future.
