Big Cheese Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Pearl

Well I went to big cheese and ordered a supper donair with. Cheese 2 extra pitas and 1 extra donair sauce total $39 and change I had been looking forward to trying there donairs since seeing the post that they had a new donair cooker . So I get home (I live approx an hour out side Mt Pearl) got ready to prep the 3 donairs . When I opened the tray holding the meat at first it looked good as it was covered with lots of cheese onions and tomato. As I moved the cheese aside I saw the meat cooked to death and burned . What I was served is what most donair places would slice off and Thro away (in my opinion). So I didn't want to make a public post I privately messaged the store on FB telling what I've shared above . The only reply was send pictures which I did (see attached) . It's been 3 days now and no further reply . This is not good. I made original msg to let the mgmt. Know what was going on in the store so they could deal internally to improve service . But since they clearly are to busy to respond to a coustomera concerns I thought I'd share with every one . Maybe now I'll get a reply. I've been ordering Big Cheese for years as I love the value you get for your money; the toppings are varied and they never skimp out on loading things up. I particularly love the tex mex chicken (give it a try!) and I believe you get the most pizza for the money at 16.99 for a 18" pizza.

On the night the review is based on my group ordered two 24" "Half and Half" pizzas that were half 4-topping pizzas and half bacon-cheese garlic fingers. They were on special for 21.99 each and for 6 people there wasnt a whole lot left by the end of the night. My combination of taco beef, tex mex chicken, pepperoni and real bacon was the most extinct.

It was ready 20 minutes after order and came with three containers of donair sauce. If a complaint could be made it was the sauce was cold from a fridge but it still tasted great and nobody minded.

Historically my girlfriend has found one of the delivery drivers to be a bit creepy but that was easily four or five years ago. What I saw last night was much different. The girl at the counter was super friendly and sweet, there was a guy doing stock that was happy to help people find the coldest drinks and was ready to pop a joke, and there was a guy out in the kitchen working hard with his game face on. I give it a 4 because they do make the best pizza around in my opinion. The wings, fantastic. DONAIR IS INCREDIBLE. Cheese fries, incredible when made correctly. The items outside of the pizza and wings are inconsistent. Sometimes it's made wrong, sometimes it's right. The nachos are the worst nachos I've ever had. Like I even said ok I'll try just the cheese nachos and they even messed that up lol. The cheese comes off the chips into a burnt pile on the bottom that is stuck to paper so you can't even peel it off. Sent a message about an error on my order and they didn't bother responding.
