I did a mobile order the day before yesterday. It gave me the option for pickup or curbside pickup. I chose curbside because when I went into the store you could not order at the counter you had to order at the drive-thru only. The place was busy so it didn't bother me that it took them a while to bring the food out to me. But once it arrived I was told that they didn't do curbside pick up anymore and that since it was my first time there during a covid lock down situation, they thought that they should let me know. I'm not sure why the option is offered on the website in that case. After I had left, I realized that the 2 reusable cold drink cups that I had purchased we're not in the bag or being used for my ice cap. So I did not receive them. And I really did not want to go back since I live 20 minutes down the road and had already gotten home. I have gone to this Tim Hortons many times before and every single time I go, they never seem to have the ingredients for the things that I actually want to buy. That also happened the day that I went there. I was trying to get a couple of farmers wraps. But they were all out on the website, and the only wraps available on the mobile order app were egg and sausage. You couldn't even get just the egg one. So I assume that all of them were out of order and they just forgot to include the egg and sausage one. This happens very frequently. Every time I go there, they are always out of something and it's usually something that they should have been aware is a big seller. I don't normally post large comments on establishments. But there was a lot going wrong with this one and I thought that the management and company should be aware of that.
Add-on: 4 days later: went back to the same location and instead of using the mobile app with all the discounts that I could have applied to my order, I decided to try to go through the drive-thru since the mobile app still didn't have anything in the lunch menu available or any of the regular options available for food at all. And to my surprise everything was available at the drive-thru it's just not updated on the mobile app for customers to use. I would highly suggest that somebody teach that location how to update the mobile app so that people like me who like discounts and the deals that come with using the mobile app, can do so and still get the products that are actually available at that location. Just a suggestion. My experience with the servers have been fantastic however. Everybody at that window is a sweetheart. I have never had an issue with one of the workers they are hard workers. And they are...
Read more"THEY'LL ALWAYS COME BACK AND COMPLAIN!" - An annoyed Tim Horton's employee (hopefully not management, because if so, theirs a bigger issue at hand) Context? Sure! I came through the drive thru, friendly as always and asked for a medium caramel ice coffee, with extra base. Is that order difficult? Nope, didn't think so. Well anyways, the order was wrong, as it usually is in the afternoons, around 3:20 - 3:30. Well, getting my order wrong plenty of times is frustrating. So finally, for the first time, I turned around and went back, and nicely explained that the order was made wrong. I was told to drive to the window, and the lady employee tried to give me an explanation as to why it was made wrong. "It's not made with base." She said. "But I asked for base." She didn't say anything else, she turned around and talked quietly to the male blonde haired worker and spoke quietly (hoping we couldn't hear their conversation) well, the male blonde hair employee, who must not have noticed that the window was wide open, decided to say out LOUD that "JUST MAKE IT THE WAY THEY ASK YOU TO, BECAUSE THEY'LL ALWAYS COME BACK AND COMPLAIN" Well yes, after numerous times of my order being wrong, i am going to come back, not to mention all the other times I should have come back. Some advice, if you're going to talk about you're customer rudely, maybe have the common courtesy and common sense to close the window before you do it. Though, this employees voice was loud enough we would have heard him anyways. So just to be clear, if I ask for something extra, you wont put it in? So say I'm allergic to tomatoes, and i ask for no tomatoes on my sandwich, are you not gonna take them off? See how ridiculous this sounds? I wanted my coffee fixed, it wasn't a big deal, but thankyou for making it deeper than it needed to be. "THE'LL ALWAYS COME BAAAAACK" Yeah, I don't...
Read moreTo the bottom comment I did you a favour by making your order right so you didn’t have to turn around and come back for a 3rd time, so you don’t have to feel like you need to make a complaint about your order. Now you’re complaining that I made your order the right way??? and I left the window open so you could hear me saying just make it the way the customer wants so they don’t have to come back like they always do because we want to avoid these simple mistakes, your right it’s not that deep. So ethier way you’re complaining even though I made sure the “NEW” employee Knew how to do things in these instances and then we fixed your order. I give great customer service to everyone of my customers even when they’re are times others have their bad day, we don’t take offence to it cause every person is entitled to a bad day or are going through something and we don’t like to upset our customers who we very much appreciate. PS. You said we were whisper but then stated that I said it out loud so which is it, I have nothing to hide from my customers nor am I intimidating by them!!! Thanks for...
