Sporty's RV Park and Restaurant/Pizzeria — Restaurant in Municipality of Harrison Park

Stopped by for ice cream last night bc they used to have sugar-free ice cream. No one could be bothered to acknowlege or assist us, so we left and went to Minnedosa instead for ice cream. I remember when this park had a drive-in theatre and it was a magical place. Now it has a nice playground but that's about the only great thing can say about it. More information: There were 2 of us shopping for 4 for ice cream (myself & 3 elderly people). So, 2 of us went in, we went to the ice cream section, no one was in sight, a fellow came out, looked over at us, we looked at him, we made eye contact, I waited and then realized I would need to ask for assistance, and as soon as I opened my mouth the door opened and a couple of people wandered in, he served them, then he left the counter and disappeared into the back and we waited for a minute or so and then walked out and made a joke about how we weren't going to be served but others were. That's pretty much all the detail I can provide. We were unimpressed, and I chalked it up to a young and inexperienced employee who wasn't interested in even acknowledging our presence. Wow… I’m not too much of a burger person and I tend to lean more vegetarian but a woman we met in town suggested coming here as the burgers were “amazing”. My husband started to drool lol. We arrived and the service was so awesome. We didn’t know at the time but the owner was taking our order and he was so excited to help us decide and make sure we were going to love our experience. He suggested the “double dirty” but single patties since we weren’t big eaters and a mix of sweet potato fries and regular fries with curry mayo and curry ketchup. In my head I was thinking curry? I don’t know how I feel about that but he was so cute and excited I just went for it. Then… it came 🤯🤯🤯 It was DELICIOUS!!!! 🤤 My husband looked insane eating it 😂 I super enjoyed the burger, fries AND the curry mayo! I went there with friends who loved this place and one even worked for the original owners. We waited a long time for the food, our orders came out separately with almost ten minutes between. Had to ask for water and the onion rings were over done. One pizza was watery, other pizza was tasteless and the battered fish was very dry and over done. There were many flies. A man came to our table to ask how everything was, I assumed maybe he was the owner or something. It was so bad we couldn’t say anything because when almost everything is bad, why get it replaced with more bad food. Burger was good. Just not interested in this place anymore.
