2/5 stars because the prices are so high for cheap, grocery store grade sushi. Its a great place to find quick, fast food, but the price point is a killer for me. Buying boxed California roll with unagi and avocado added on top, plus a small box of nigiri sushi made with gooey farmed salmon, will cost you over $20 bucks before tipping; a very expensive lunch when other options of a similar caliber and convenience are available (i.e. Subway). I'd give this place a higher rating if either the price was dropped to what you'd find at grocery store deli section or if tastier/fresher ingredients were used. I usually stop in a few days a week for some California rolls, it never costs more than four dollars. Good food at a great price. The inside is clean and up to date if you do choose to dine in. The staff is very friendly and courteous. You can tell they have a passion for what they do. No offence to the 16 year burger flippers, we've all been there.
