Well, let me tell you how great this place was!!! Hidden away in Oromocto, New Brunswick behind an old gas station...it was excellent!!! What the heck is a restaurant like this doing on Miramichi Road. Fresh with an excellent, extensive menu of Japanese culinary delights!! If you like sushi and tempura.... you will like this place!! What a hidden delight!! Service was fast....decor was complentary.... totally not expecting such a treasure!! Great wine list....menu was so extensive it was hard to choose.... We Love this restaurant. It is our go-to sushi restaurant. We have tried several places in Fredericton and this is the best. Well worth the drive to Oromocto. It offers a very casual atmosphere while still maintaining an Asian charm. The owner and staff are all really friendly, the food is always fresh and delicious. They have an amazing sesame ice cream that looks like cement but is so good. In winter the restaurant can be quite cold which is why I give it a 99% and not 100. Horrible experience.

Whoever rated it high has not experienced proper sushi, sashimi or any thing to do with japanese kitchen, Japanese chef would seppuku himself with shame. I ordered a simple combination of maki with tempura assortment. Spicy tuna roll was shavings of tuna flavored mess in rice with sriracha sauce ( not even tuna cut, just shavings). Dynamite roll was tempura shrimp in rice and sea weed.. that's it and assorted tempura had shrimp and some kind of vegetable. I hope these guys get competition as this should not be rated as high as it was....
