Well, let me tell you how great this place was!!! Hidden away in Oromocto, New Brunswick behind an old gas station...it was excellent!!! What the heck is a restaurant like this doing on Miramichi Road. Fresh with an excellent, extensive menu of Japanese culinary delights!! If you like sushi and tempura.... you will like this place!! What a hidden delight!! Service was fast....decor was complentary.... totally not expecting such a treasure!! Great wine list....menu was so extensive it was hard to choose.... Everything was delicious!!! Prices were great! 3 people with wine 135.00. You can't...

We Love this restaurant. It is our go-to sushi restaurant. We have tried several places in Fredericton and this is the best. Well worth the drive to Oromocto. It offers a very casual atmosphere while still maintaining an Asian charm. The owner and staff are all really friendly, the food is always fresh and delicious. They have an amazing sesame ice cream that looks like cement but is so good. In winter the restaurant can be quite cold which is why I give it a 99% and not 100. I am restricted to a gluten friendly menu so this restaurant is a great place for me to have a...

Horrible experience.

Whoever rated it high has not experienced proper sushi, sashimi or any thing to do with japanese kitchen, Japanese chef would seppuku himself with shame. I ordered a simple combination of maki with tempura assortment. Spicy tuna roll was shavings of tuna flavored mess in rice with sriracha sauce ( not even tuna cut, just shavings). Dynamite roll was tempura shrimp in rice and sea weed.. that's it and assorted tempura had shrimp and some kind of vegetable. I hope these guys get competition as this should not be rated as high as it was....

It’s that hole in the wall place that people rave about — the one with the stuffed bunny guarding the bathrooms! I was a little dismayed that no one spoke Japanese as this Japanese restaurant but that doesn’t minimize the quality of the food product. Though I’m not a big sushi eater, the alternatives are great and I highly recommend the Teriyaki Chicken sushi rolls. With a little wasabi and soy, worth a double order in lieu of a side of tempura.

What a wonderful meal. Everything I had was high quality and fresh. The eel rice was so warm and packed a great taste without being too fishy. The tempura set was really good and came with a nice salmon roll and fresh sashimi. The tempura yams were kind of bland even with the sauce and I didn't really like the bar stool sits. 8.3/10. The lunch specials are a great deal.Big tasting sushi in a small town.

I ate lunch here today and it was the best sushi I’ve ever had. I got the gyoza and teriyaki chicken roll but there are lots of options available. Again, it was amazing! The staff was also super kind & understanding about my service dog. They served him up some water and we had a nice & relaxing meal. I am looking forward to coming here again next time I am in Oromocto😊
