Newton's Mercantile & Café — Restaurant in New Brunswick

Very nice to have a coffee in front of the sea, they even make a store and they sell great little vintage style trinkets as decorations! The cakes are awesome but if you go to Newton's don't leave without the awesome Carrot Cake, it's the best I've had in my life! The staff are friendly, it depends who serves you ... Of course, they don't just bake cakes, they make pannis, smoothies ... A great terrace is set up outside, great when the weather is nice with the family. Even a small but great parking lot! 2025 review: A lot of choices of coffee, we’ve tried the latte, hot chocolate and the caramel machiato, all very good!

The store is divided in two, light snack-lunch- sandwich-cookies and hot beverages on one side and a souvenir store on the other side. Open hour on the picture are from July 2025
