We spent the night on Grand Manan and wanted a tasty brunch before we caught the ferry back and this was delicious! The soup was a tomato basil feta soup and had thinly sliced carrots in it which was a pleasant surprise. I’ve never had tomato soup with carrots in it but it was so good- adds a nice sweetness to the soup that isn’t overpowering. I also got the ham and cheese croissant, it was fresh and tasty with the buttery, flaky croissant. Read moreWe woke up from out wild camping spot in Grand Manan in a huge puddle, with all our equipment soaked to the bone, on a chilly / rainy day. We were deeply in need of warmth! The cafe was full, they suggested we eat on the deck - I was already shivering so we said it was fine, we'd eat in the car. They immediately made their best to add a table for 2, and served us this delicious, warm comfort food pretty quickly! Read moreIn our ten days on Grand Manan, we ate here twice. The food was so good that there was very little time for photos. I had the sausage in a bun the first time, and the chipotle chicken sandwich the second. Each sandwich was well seasoned and had a great flavour.
The location is great, and hopefully the work being done at the harbour will be done soon. There is a large patio as well as space to eat inside.
