The Skeena Bakery was one of the best stops in Hazelton. The staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable/passionate about their business, and the coffee is so excellent we would stop multiple times a day. They sell local coffee beans by the bag either as beans or pre-ground in many blends as well as locally made chocolate bars that I bought one of each of (choices are hard when it comes to chocolate), their baguettes have a lovely crust and are soft and fluffy on the inside, and my partner and I LOVED their “elephant ears”. We were tipped off about ordering cream cheese icing on them and it is the way to go. For an out of this world experience, like all successful bakeries, the earlier you go the more choices you have; they’re a bustling spot so get your goodies...

I love the Skeena Bakery. It is my go to treat place with an amazing program within the business of "baking down barriers". They employ and train folks who have neurodivergent learning styles and also source their soups from various society's and folks who are local, therefore generating income for others while supplying locally made soups. I bought a lovely cookie tin for the holidays as a birthday gift for a family member and I just loved the packaging! My favorite staff member is Harvey who is a Gitxsan and he is always so friendly and fast with his service! Highly recommend this place for your locally made coffee (made by Mercedes Beans and model Teas) in the Skeena Bakery blend. My ultimate go to treat is the sticky bun with raisin and it...

The Skeena Bakery is a non-profit organization, that serves the Hazelton's. Key words: Fresh made daily, 100% Organic, Non-GMO, handmade. Everybody is welcome. The bakery is a favorite place for locals to sit and enjoy fresh goodies, and locally roasted coffee. The fresh-daily cinnamon buns are a big hit with everybody who tries one. Huge variety of breads, and all are delicious and healthy. My personal fave: Sourdough, is made on Tuesdays and Fridays. Because there are no preservatives, and the all-organic ingredients, the bread will go stale faster than store-bought bread. Always good for 3-4 days though. A must-do stop for...

Got there close to closing and had almost nothing left sadly. Recommend going earlier. Got a baguette that was great, however the cookies weren't our favorite. We will try again if we can get here earlier in the day and update our review. Shop staff were super nice. Still recommend stopping here especially if it's earlier in the day.

Finally got my hands on some sweets from the world-famous Skeena Bakery!! The raisin cinnamon rolls were HEAVENLY, and I don’t say that lightly! And the people working there, absolute gems! If you’re ever around Smithers/Terrace, make your way up here to try these!

A local gem, fabulously awesome cinnamon buns! Many other treats, some gluten free ...and a nice assortment of breads and other savoury items. Welcoming staff, decent coffee. Unassuming facade, easy to drive by ...Don't!
