The Skeena Bakery was one of the best stops in Hazelton. The staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable/passionate about their business, and the coffee is so excellent we would stop multiple times a day. They sell local coffee beans by the bag either as beans or pre-ground in many blends as well as locally made chocolate bars that I bought one of each of (choices are hard when it comes to chocolate), their baguettes have a lovely crust and are soft and fluffy on the inside, and my partner and I LOVED their “elephant ears”. The bakery is a favorite place for locals to sit and enjoy fresh goodies, and locally roasted coffee. The fresh-daily cinnamon buns are a big hit with everybody who tries one. Huge variety of breads, and all are delicious and healthy. My personal fave: Sourdough, is made on Tuesdays and Fridays. Because there are no preservatives, and the all-organic ingredients, the bread will go stale faster than store-bought bread. Always good for 3-4 days though. A must-do stop for...
